One additional tipp: if you carry the stick in one hand and swing your other hand while walking, put the carrying hand close to a pocket of your jacket or your trousers. This looks more natural, because there is a logical reason your just swinging one hand while walking 😉
Hi... loved this video...really useful. I guess the only thing missing is to show the most efficient workflow to do it.... from the post side. So you’ve filmed it, but beginners (like me) would then wonder how to go from there to editing it in the app (or on their laptop) and then getting it onto their physical laptop to export it to RU-vid or social media in general. Would you take the card out of the camera, or use Wi-fi or.. or.. or... So the workflow part would be extremely valuable and this is the bit that not many people are doing as RU-vid explainer videos. I for one would find this very useful. I think other beginners would too!
Using the technique In this video once you use viewfinder mode it creates a final clip so you can then select the arrow in the top right and export it to your mobile camera roll. Hope this helps a bit for now. Thanks for watching.
Hello,,, very good videos, several things were clarified for me. I would like to know with what program the gyroscope can be used with the goproMax 360, maybe you know a tutorial about it,,,, thanks
GoPro player was updated last year but I haven’t tried it - you can also use the mobile GoPro app or if you wanted to pay then try Adobe premiere with the GoPro plugin.
Rich.. The US link in this video for the stick points you to one that is $29.99 USD and has 7 sections. I thought the revised one had 9 sections and would be more than $29.99 USD. Are you sure the link here is the revised one? Thanks...
Sometimes the item sells out and amazon redirects to the nearest item. Also though I’ve seen that you have to select the different sticks underneath. Another thing though is that there is a new style of the 2.7 stick as well which maybe $29.99. So there are two new versions. Just make sure it says new updated in the title and looks like the thicker stick.!For the telesin stick the layout of the amazon sales page is a bit confusing. Hope this helps
I like this one too. But I use only osmo pocket and osmo action. I am not into the 360 cam. Can you make video on how to use the long stick? I am planning to buy it, but I am just looking for reasons to decide. I am just a newbie.
You can buy the NEW Telesin Extended Selfie Stick here with my affiliate link: US: amzn.to/39Y3zka (you have to select the 3m stick) and here's the UK link amzn.to/3ixrj2H
Now this is the video I've been waiting on, love all these shots I'll have great fun trying them out and embarrassing my partner and kids with the 'massive selfie stick' as they call it 😊 cheers Rich 👍
I use sandisk extreme or extreme pro 64gb but don’t usually shoot for too long - it will get warm, the one r gets red hot. It shouldn’t overheat though.
Hi, pls help me. I took some clips using bullet time and normal 5.7k videos. But I feel all videos are not clear. What I’m doing wrong! HDR also same. Cant compare with I phone videos?
I haven’t had any issues with the one x2 - if you are having problems then your best bet is to post them on the insta360 Facebook group and tag insta360. I haven’t heard of these issues - maybe try a different battery or running without a battery off of a power bank to see if it still switches on and off.
1. Bullet time 2. No drone no problem 3. Tree pov 4. Tracking shot 5. Rising drone shot 6. Car window fly trough 7. Circular tracking shot 8. Pinned to planet 9. Drone loop
Did you use both lenses or just one or do you export these as flat not 360 files?. When I tried the circular tracking shot it seemed distorted and dizzying (sp) to watch.
You export them as flat reframed videos so you are using both lenses. The circular shot is a bit dizzying so I only use it for a few seconds and mix it with other shots. To reduce the distortion just reframe it closer - select default view and zoom back from there.
@@EatSleep360 Thank you for the advice. I will try it this weekend. I have started filming a lot to create a RU-vid Channel on Freeze Drying, Dehydrating, product reviews, hunting, etc. It is interesting learning how to position the camera (hight/distance) to get decent viewpoints. Once I learn to edit the videos in FCPx I will post some that hopefully turn out worth viewing by someone.

I want to scream every time you use the word 'easy': there is nothing easy about an Insta360 camera. You cannot predict how aging will affect you, but you may find, possibly sooner than you expect, that what was once easy has become insurmountably difficult. A young IT manager recommended the Insta360, but he grew up with mobile gadgets and cannot comprehend the problems of people with hand tremors and far from perfect vision. I tried very hard to use the camera, but it is beyond my capabilities and I find myself excluded from another aspect of society that young people take for granted. With the camera and accessories I wasted about £400 on useless junk. I spent less than a tenth of that amount on a camera with two buttons, one to turn it on and off and one to start and stop recording, and that is all I need.
I have found that over time it gets looser so when it’s closed it doesn’t stay together. However when you are using it the stick feels strong and locks into position. I prefer the friction design of the insta stick but you are paying a premium.
Sir, this telesin 3 m or 2.7m. It looks a little bit bending, does it visible or absolutely invisible ? I am confusing to choose of 2 type of telesin, 3 m or 2.7 M
Great video! I just got one of these selfie sticks last week (just in time for this week's snowstorm) based on your video reviewing it. Finally used it today walking through the snow covered woods. It worked great. I used it with my GoPro Max. I had to also order a straight tripod mount from Amazon (since it came with the offset one...something I only knew because of your video), and then I sanded the larger circular base of the new mount so it was just a touch less wide than my GoPro Max. That way I could get the invisible selfie stick look. I actually did several of the shots today you're doing here and they came out great. Keep making awesome vids!
Great Video thanks for that!! I was just wondering how you did it, did you use the Go pro Max or just a „normal“ Go pro ? I bought the gopro 10 and the Telesin Stick is always in the Videos. Did you also try it with the Go pro itself? I didnt want to buy the max lense just for that but now i am not sure about it🤔
Excellent video! This certainly brings some great ideas! My favorite.....?? All of them! Again demonstrating your channel is truly one of the best. Next step is to perform the same with my Gopro Max.
Excellent video! I look forward to getting out and trying out some of these techniques soon. I'm a newbie to the X3 so I have a lot to learn. I will subscribe so I can check out your other videos as well. Thank you!
Thanks.....again Rich. Your soooo smart! I bought the extended selfie stick a while ago for my 360 one R, and was wondering how to do those exact edits.
Thanks so much, 😁🤗 my camera is supposed to arrive today..can’t wait to start playing with it..as I was writing this the doorbell rang..it was the camera...going to go check it out..😁🤗👍🏻
The tracking shot is cool, when combined with the circular movement to enable the subject to exit the frame. Some stability is required for when going through spaces
