Thank you so much this has been by far the best video I've seen on this subject!! One question - if I'm using e-sim for international travel, is it possible to completely turn off the "primary" sim so I don't have to worry at all about accidentally using my US data and getting charged a ton with roaming? Thank you!!

Great video, if I have my primary SIM from my home provider set on ROAMING OFF and my secondary travel eSIM set on ROAMING ON can I be certain not to get charged roaming fees from my home provider? Is it safer just to remove my primary home SIM completely?

Thanks for your info on eSims. My husband and I are going to try the Dent one for Italy this fall. I have a question....do you think purchasing data for an Alaskan cruise would work with this Dent app? Would it work while on the ship? The internet packages on the ships are outrageous and very slow.

Hi. What happens when I’m on a call on Sim 1 and someone is trying to call on my esim (Sim 2)? Would I still get the call notification for the esim? As when I checked on my friend’s phone, when he’s on a call on Sim 1, the esim (Sim 2) network instantly disappears to ‘No Service’

2 questions please! (1.)If I use (AT&T data) such as watching RU-vid or surfing the web on my primary personal line will my secondary job/work line (Verizon) be able to access that information? (2.) How would I setup 2 voicemails for each line?

no, you can only use 1 data connection at a time. as far as voicemail.... there's a little symbol depending on what you name the networks showing you which carrier it's from

Is call forwarding 100% necessary? For example, if you're not on a call would calls come in from both numbers? Hopefully that question makes sense. 🤣 Getting ready to help a friend set this up and trying to wrap my brain around it.

I heard that the carrier frowns on one phone being continuously on call forward. I’m going to use dual sim to purposely have two different towers. What’s the point of having two phone if both go down because of both being on the same tower. So I was thinking, put the call forwarding on the phone that is most important, that way if it goes down I can get the call on the other phone since the forwarding is programmed in. If the other phone goes down then since the important phone is still operational, I can turn off call forwarding to be able to get the important calls.

They have to unlock after a year while the phone is still active with them and you owe them nothing. If your not changing networks then it doesn’t matter. The new carrier will give you a sim for that phone. If your changing to a different network then you need a different phone and sim from a new carrier and just port the number over to a new phone, making sure you do that before you cancel the 7 plus with the other carrier.
