Helpful video, thank you. Once you set up the route, can you save it for use later. If like to for example have day 1 route, day 2 route and day 3 route of a three day holiday saved in advance.
Hi, 1. Make sure you are outside where the GPS can get full signal strength. 2. Start the saved trip as if you are actually ready to go. 3. After the GPS completes the calculation and starts the guidance click " Where to " 4. Enter the midpoint destination and the GPS will ask you if you want to create a New Route or add to the existing route choose Add to Existing route.
Can you please help me and tell me why mine won't let you add more than 2 destinations? Yours here you add like 5. I add 1 then add to active the second, and then to the third, but the third just replaces and becomes the new second. And so on each time I add new to active route. I deliver chinese food and sometimes I take up to 3 or 4 stops and it is hard to plan only 2 stops at a time. Thank you I hope you see this
I have an up to date drivesmart 76 and have no route optimize function in route planner. When navigating to multiple destinations it is going past the first flag to another flag further away first? In navigation options it's either fastest route or straight line
Fastest Rout is better because it will take all the Red Lights, Stop Signs and Speed bumps in consideration. So it might send you through a longer distance using freeways to save you time. The down side is you will travel more and increase your vehicle millage.
Hi, I'm after some help and advice. I recently borrowed a Garmin Drive 60LM from a friend with the intention of buying it from him. I have tried to use it on a journey from UK across a number of EU countries. It is a UK bought model, as far as I can tell. It is supposed to have EU maps loaded. It worked OK in the UK. I Intended to use it to take me to small destinations in France, Spain, Portugal and back to France, UK. but it has proved to be useless, it wouldn't recognise any towns in France, it wouldn't recognise Paris(?) even when I changed countries on the list of countries available. I thought that it would have lifetime maps update, and I could download maps as required. I like the big screen and would love to use it but I'm not sure what I need to do to have these maps up & running. has anybody experienced similar problems? Am I doing something wrong? thanks for your advice.
@@ccrider-zo7vj I don't see any all Europe's map, it should be CN Europe NTU 2021.10 or so. Foursquare is not a map file it is location sharing info. Also make sure the box next to these maps is checked.
Hi, thanks for the useful video! I’m having an issue with my drive smart I’m not sure if I am doing this correctly, but I’ve added multiple addresses that I know to see if the GPS will automatically calculate the fastest route but when I checked the gps’s route, it actually doesn’t go to a stop that is literally on the way, but it instead goes to another address then comes back around which i lose a lot of time/distance Do you know what the problem might be here? Thanks.

Yes you can do it directly if your GPX files are unlocked, or you can do it using the Garmin PC Based program called Garmin Base Camp. In order to see the inner folders of the GPS you must put the GPS in Mass Storage Mode. For that you need to see this video on how to do that.
@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 I tried to insert the gpx both in the internal memory and in the sd but it doesn't work. on garmin base camp it is written next to a warning signal: the device contains too many tracks (1) only supports 0 tracks. moreover the device does not have an app to access the tracks, it only recognizes the waypoints in the section where you go, saved. And this video does not show how to do this function
That is most likely due to a bad power cord, or a loose USB port inside the GPS. Try another cord and if there is still no power try to gently wiggle the cord if you get temporary power for a few seconds it means the USB Port is loose inside the GPS and it needs to be re-soldered.
I took it apart with a tool kit and it seems to have gotten wet on the whole motherboard. Where would I buy a other I've Google the model number with no luck

LOL, I know it sounds like it, but don't own any. I have no idea why I always bring Starbucks as an example of Point of Interest. I will make sure to say something else next time like McDonald's or Chick Fil A
