Yudi bro you promised me that u shall make video on work culture in us office, difference between India and USA IT work culture, interaction between supervisor and employee...and much more real life scenarios... : )
Hi Yudi, thank you so much for uploading this . I have been trying to connect with people before coming to USA and it was like a tutorial class for me . I have made physical notes of all the points . You are such a great mentor for anyone who is dream to come to USA , i thank you from the bottom of my heart for creation such informative videos , usually people do not share such information. I wish to meet you in person one day. Thanks.
You know honestly today I was feeling a bit low and thinking if any of my effort for this channel worth it, and I read your comment. Thank you for this comment, it really helps and motivates me to keep doing this.
Thanks Yudi...in every video there is a some new to thing which I come to know.......I am following you since I was in india in 2019. Currently I am studying master in California.
I hear what you're saying. But I don't like to make connections. I'm an introvert and I hate dealing with people. It just drains my energy too much. I know what you're saying is correct and is beneficial. But it's incredibly hard for me to follow.
Hey Yudi, I am going for my master this fall and I have been binge watching all your videos for last 2 weeks😍. THANK YOU so much for each and every video. 🙏💯. ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર
Hey Yudi, motivating as always .Whenever I'm struck with what next in the process, your videos give me an awesome perspective of how things work.Thank you!🙂
Really Really very valuable video , thanks a lot bro for this. I was a big introvert but after watching your videos i am already working on that, instead of just emailing or texting to people i started to call them up or try to meet them in person, at first it was really tough but i must say i am really getting very comfortable with it. These videos are really very helpful for ppl like me.
Thank you for the video Yudi and I am sure your tips and advice will help me soon in the near future. Bdw, I signed up for skillshare through your link. Thanks again and have a great day!!
This video is going to help a lot of MS aspirants. Thanks a lot Yudi Bro for this SUPER DUPER informative video👏👏👏👏👏👏👌. KEEP SMILING AND KEEP HUSTLING.
Thanks a lot for the video! I'm new to the channel and just found out that you work in EXL. I work in EXL Services as well, in Gurgaon. Nice coincidence!
Great video Yudi! As always keeping it real. Appreciate the work you're doing. I personally disagree with "How to build the relationship?" part of the video. As someone who has referred 100s of people over the past few years, I prefer a direct ask about referral if someone wants one. If they want mentorship, then that's a little different. It does work in a sense that, let's say I am mentoring someone and I have a position in my team and I see the mentee as a good fit, I'd certainly consider them even if they haven't asked for it. (pretty much how poaching happens as you know) But I have doubts about mentorship as a way to looking for a referral if that's someone's end goal ( typically in case of international students, time is of the essence and they probably have a very short window to apply to as many jobs. Also to keep in mind, a lot of executives/even senior engineers don't really have time to mentor many people at the same time.)
Hence you start early and not when you graduate - I did mention that if you are starting when you need a job then yeah you are desperate and you don't have time so ask directly :) may be watch that part again - I think I covered that what you are saying above.
Yudi J.... Very very golden msg to build your relations for long lasting. I am a Mummy and my daughter -divya searching job in USA. Hope this video helps her to the same
Hey Yudi! Thanks for the video, really helpful. I have made several connections during this period, shall I revisit the ones that are in Materials Engineering based firms and hold positions there and start talking about their journey?
Hey, Yudi awesome video, and thanks a ton for sharing a plethora of knowledge. Just one question: My Indian college offers a 1+1 program at a US university i.e. University of North Alabama, Florence, Alabama and I am looking forward to pursuing this. Will this be a good decision? Should I go for it? We can connect on some social platforms and if you would like I can give more info on this to you and gain some insight. The 1+1 program at UNA is of STEM. (MS in Computer Science).
This video is one of the best of the best. Sorry to sound like a complete selfish asshole. But, is MS in Computer Science from Sacred Heart University worth it? You’re the only RU-vid creator I trust.
Awesome video Yudi bhai!! One question- Do we need all the required skills for job before MS in CS or we develop those during MS ? Because you said we have to apply from day 1 so how is that possible for freshers?? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
Can you please make a video about MSCS in Indiana University Bloomington and how to get funding or tuition fee waiver. I have been researching a lot to get fee waiver and facing a dead end. Please try and make a video about getting funding in this college. Thank you.
Can you please upload a video for bachelor's degree student. I mean for their internship or even maybe job?? And what should they do from first semester to have good resumes !!!!
@@YudiJ thanks a lot for your wonderful tips and idea Yudi, I wiil surely follow them when all this covid-19 situation calms down and I actually get to come to US.
Hey man.. I got an admit for the MS Program In Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. Can u explain the difference between the MS and the MEngg program in terms of course work and job opportunities. Also, Is it true that many students receive an admit for the MEngg program than the MS program?. If an MS student wants be a working professional, will there be enough job opportunities as compared to the MEngg student?...I hope u answer this question.

To be honest! I barely feel relationship building is helpful. Instead build your own profile such a way other person is interested to speak to u. Not just connecting, I think people need to put their profiles and posts on LinkedIn in order for people to get it interesting. I even saw people in masters searching for Development jobs without a Github Repository or a portfolio. It's logical that you showcase your work in terms of getting a job. Not just friends or alumni, we need family persons and our close ones to help us out too. Not just that a professor recommendation on LinkedIn is powerful too. Not many people get jobs through referrals, but using the college resources right and using the interview at the campus is crucial.
