How to Obtain Every Weapon in Lunacid

There are 66 weapons in Lunacid, some easy to find, some very well-hidden. Obtaining all of them unlocks an achievement, and a few of them unlock extra achievements on their own. Here are the locations of every single one of them, presented in a (hopefully) easy-to-follow guide with commentary. Happy Lunaciding!

Love the video, It should be noted that two of the weapons that Sheryl sells initially (Crossbow, Steel Needle) can be found in the world for free if you don't want to buy them from her, despite money being fairly easy to farm in Yosei Forest: Their locations are as follows: Crossbow (Castle Le Fanu, ground floor corridors) Steel Needle (Sealed Ballroom, inside a secret room)

The rapier you find in the world and the rapier you can buy from Sheryl are different. Be sure to upgrade them both!

Fun fact. The Axe of Harming was put in by a friend of the dev, Wambu. While watching the dev making the trees. He jokingly suggested to add a loop in one of the trees. The dev kept it in, and later, Wambu got to make his own weapon. That's how the spawn and weapon got in

For Blessed Wind, the best method I found is just to create coffins and then destroy them, the wood shards should let you see the shape and width of the invisible bridge easily without messing with the physics.

For the Serpent fang I just went back and forth the same path. No need to change the tunnel. The puzzle felt weirdly obvious due to the letters on the statue so was surprised how many people were stuck in that puzzle.

I never saw the letters on the statue because I was always holding the Shining Blade by that point and the light made it hard to notice that. Just brute forced my way to the book and thought that was the end of the path. Guess I really feel for it there.

Omg thank you so much. I had the same issue with the Shining Blade that you had, which finally allowed me to get that achievement. No one else seemed to know how to fix it at all, and I felt like I was going insane lol. Great video

For the serpent fang it doesn't matter if you go through the near or far door, only if you go left or right.

Obsidian Poisonguard/Cursesword are dropped in *The Laberyinth of Ash* too. There are one black skeleton per each loopy green room (the place where you find the harps)

I have a massively glitched file, I ended up getting every weapon but I don't have the achievement because earlier I encountered a glitch where I left after beating sucsarius, came back, then had to fight him again, giving me a second lucid blade. This glitched file is like a prized possession of mine

A little side note, you can use the torch from the beginning to damage the mares in the catecombs to make your life easier for getting the vampire hunter sword

Thanks for the video :) Maybe I missed it: Is the possession of upgraded weapons already implicit to have owned the previous weapon for the completion? And just out of curiosity: Is there something in the game the shield is useful for? I did not find a use for it yet.

does the death scythe not count towards the achievement? because in my experience, i couldn't get the achievement to pop until i used the save editor to add the scythe to my inventory (i had already done the death scythe quest)

According to what I've heard on Discord and from the developer, neither the Scythe nor the Hammer of Cruelty count. The achievement is a little bit buggy, though. Most people just say to reforge the weapons that allow you to do so. In my experience, that is what worked: I collected every weapon on the same save, I made sure to turn the Obsidian Poisonguard into the Obsidian Cursesword, then I turned my Shining Blade back into the Shadow Blade and that's what caused the achievement to pop.

i should also clarify this was after MANY relaunch attempts and trying other solutions suggested online (swapping shadow blade and shining blade, obsidian poisonguard and poisonbrand, etc...)

@@FuryForged maybe it was because i was on a pre 1.0 save then? because i tried all of that and it didn't work until i put the scythe in my inventory. very strange.

Yeah, probably. Although I had *just* collected all of the early access weapons right before 1.0 came out, I decided to start a new save for all of this (rings, weapons, secrets/endings, etc.) once 1.0 came out. I still have that old early access save, and there are only a few more weapons I need on it now, so I can check to see how it works for me on that one.

Yup, you do. Every weapon that can be levelled-up, must be levelled-up.

The puzzle for opening the door in the Castle killed this game for me, it looks like a keyhole of some sort but after i looked it up it was actually a blood spell. I am not entirely sure how anyone is expected to figure that out as you never come across anything like that in the game at all up until that point? Anytime i have to look something up i just cant play that game anymore its ruined for me, i spent multiple hours trying to figure it out to the best of my ability. Still think it was a very nice game though just think the puzzle design is inherently obtuse.

I stopped playing this game shortly after getting to the person that sells the Steel Needle because I just could not figure out how to navigate the world reliably. It stinks because I think this game looks incredible. Can anyone offer advice for progression?

@Os-Tg Was hoping for a reply like thus when I posted so long ago. The game is perfectly up my alley, and I was heavily invested in trying to figure it out; I didn't wanna use a guide, but it was futile. I genuinely feel like without at least looking up where to go, the game is genuinely unbeatable. I agree about the OST and the atmosphere and I think the game really shows a lot of care was put into it but it's lacking in a lot of areas. At least some kind of magic arrow or clairvoyance to lead you to interesting locations could save this entire game; it'd be far more popular, but fans would be upset I'm sure.
