Thank you so much for this vid dude! Just made my life so much easier! I'm working on my first set of this style of lights, so was a bit nervous. Have mostly done early 90s lights that are much easier to split :-) Your other vids and IG posts have helped me lot too!
I have that same ultrasonic cutter and mine absolutely sucks! I pretty much never use it because it never seems to really get the job done. Any tips on getting it to work better?
thats the worst! I found that if you keep it on the charger while you use it helps. also found that if you drill some holes in the blade handle to let out some heat that helps a little bit as well. Unfortunately the battery powered ones just have a very low shut off compared to the plug in style.
