You know that 'you just pull that down' statement, ha, I say ha. I now try not to close that door ever because it is so darn hard to open. I assume I'm doing it wrong because it's a struggle. I hate this door.
Some people got bad doors. I did on the one I got today. Either the camera is going back or they're sending me a new door to try. Nobody should have to struggle this hard to use a product that costs this much.
Bic Pens always come with a "cover/hood/top" and I use that to pop the latch. It won't scratch the surface, gives enough not to cause harm and I'm over my manicured fingers paying the price for a quick SD card or battery change. Also, I use battery packs. I'll run the GoPro as much as 10 hours at a time so opening and closing that latch was becoming problematic. Hope this helps.
That video was very helpful, thank you so much for making it, I actually need to keep the gopro plugged when I fil min my car long videos, and the door comes close to me, I almost tried to unscrew the screws in the door, but did not have the right screw drive, now that I know that it can be popped off, it changes everything, I wish gopro actually advertised that somewhere...
My first Go Pro was the 9 and Jordan’s book is very helpful. Sure there are YT videos but this guy goes into great detail of all the features specifically. Highly recommended.

Does anyone know what the smaller door/tab is for on the opposite side of the GoPro 11 below the power/mode button? It reminds me of the battery door, but doesn't seem to open. Just wondering what its purpose is. Thanks!
I got the Volta battery grip. I had to change the battery door use the charging feature. Well I cant figure out how to get the door open to 1. Change it back to the original door so it can be waterproof again. 2. Change battery or SD card. I tried to pull the door with pliers but it just feels like I'm going to break it. Any suggestions?!?!

My first GoPro camera is the Hero 9 and I purchased it to use as a webcam. Any advice or video links you can provide me would be great bc it seems like everytime I have it set up, it won't sync with my 2023 MacBook Pro,
how long should the battery be lasting on stand-by? I charged it, used it for 2 min, and then went to use in 2 weeks later and it didn't even power up. This is brand new. I'm also finding the battery compartment next to impossible to open.
Hi, Sorry, I just saw this comment. The "latch" is actually just a cover for the microphone drain. It's not removable, so hopefully you didn't pull it off (a lot of people have).
