The traditional name for the heart chakra is Anahata. In Sanskrit, this word translates to unhurt, which is important to know because it gives you some key insight about this particular chakra. The heart chakra is the center chakra. It is located in the very center of your chest. Though all chakras are doorways for spiritual energy, it is the heart chakra that unites the physical and spiritual aspect of your embodiment. +David Mendoza Maybe my comment was misconstrued, but you must understand that no one can "save" you but yourself. I love Teal Swan and all that she represents, but if you think of her as ONLY being right, you will never recognize the power within yourself. When Teal says something that resonates with me, I let it sit with me for a while, allow it to breathe, and remove ANYTHING that doesn't resonate with my heart anymore. She can't give you the answers to all your problems because she's only human and she IS NOT YOU. You are you.

Gary B I got hit by a car while on a motorcycle going 60moh thrown over 75 ft broke both my legs ankles fractured my hip dislocated my shoulder displaced my kidney tore my bladder and fractured my spine... And I most certainly did experience a telepathic communication, I experience the right hemisphere of my brain became uplifted and VIBRATING at an unbelievable frequency within my own my I heard a sound which I put all of my focus energy and attention on and I began to hear/feel a transmission come through and endless stream of words I only manage to remember the words "galaxy...light... And you may not be able to understand fully at this moment" my next memory, as if from one moment to another i awakened in the hospital after my accident with a breathing tube in my mouth 2 weeks later.

My heart told me, politely but firmly, to get out of its damn way. That it knows where we are going and how to get there but I need the negative self talk and the repeating of stories and imagined conversations to shut the hell up. My heart is kind of badass. I won't mess with her anymore.

For the longest time, I thought my solar plexus was my heart chakra. Now I'm beginning to realize the I had closed my heart chakra (due to having my love rejected over and over, in strong ways) so much that I no longer felt/feel it. Been dealing with intense anxiety, heart palpitations, and indigestion whenever I have excess energy coming in. Now working to open and regenerate my heart chakra. It's almost as if the center of my chest is fully numbed.

This was great advice . When I was 18 (I am currently 71) I contracted a case of Pneumonia. The infection spread to my Pericardium resulting in a case of Pericarditis. I am beginning to see a connection between the heart chakra and the relationship difficulties that have plagued me over the years. This information could cause me to look at all of these past problems in a different light. It could also mean a breakthrough for me in dealing with these past events. I am looking forward to a solution from this new outlook. Thanks for the gift this video gave me.

Thank you so much for this video. i tried breathing through my heart last night throughout a party that i was initially terrified of going to. i stayed centered the entire evening and was told that i was an incredibly calming presence- which i feel is hardly ever the case. my exercises to open up the chest have also improved, and are less painful with the simple shift of intention. thank you thank you thank you

When I was going to Jim Self’s old Center for psychic development they followed and used in part, the old Berkeley Psychic development tools and teachings. They told me to close down my lower chakras because they were too open. My initial reaction was No! I don’t want to close them down. It didn’t feel right but they insisted it would help me be less vulnerable etc. After hearing this from Teal, I know why my body had such a visceral reaction against what they were teaching me. Thanks Teal ! I am writing a play about a young man confronting his abusers, and during the sections where he describes to them just how hurt and wounded he became through their aggressive behavior, I can feel my heart tensing up -- it has been very stressful to write. Now I think I can relax a bit, and visualize myself, at least, writing the lines through my heart chakra, rather than through my biting reptile chakra, which literally causes MY heart to be in pain! Though I am still learning about this subject, however the aspects I tend to ‘become confused about’: Contrary to the teaching of this topic, I associate “THE HEART” with the color RED not green... Valentines Day, but then the color of the heart is red- not green. Among the defining of the heart is ‘the core’, the core of what? Information... or of the mind and principles one lives by. One’s thoughts and intentions come from or flow from; A proverb: Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life; of which it is said that life is in the blood. If blood were viewed as ‘an issue’ which means to flow from... it would be red not green; Furthermore; I associate ‘THE ROOT’ as green, because though the base of a tree is brownish... it’s vegetation is green. (Personal viewpoint) for some reason I cannot get my mind or thought of this- to conjoin with the actual teaching belief structure.

Might do the trick for some people, but I have had so much self-anger it didn't work for me, even though I gave more than two years savings to people in need. Deal with 3rd chakra first properly, which is chronic anger, including to self.

Teal, you've been a blessing. I gain so much from your videos, this one especially. I had known for years that my heart was closed off and it wasn't until yesterday that I started asking inward 'why' and 'what can I do for you?' It didn't even want to converse; just wanted to sit quietly without the attention. Its wall was leathery and tough, able to weather all conditions. I asked when this began and it replied, "7." I let it unfold with time and it eventually asked some deep questions. We talked, healed, sat in silence. There is more work to be done but you got me started. Thank you so much.

I think its awesome that you are offering to donate all your money to those that are hurting That's how I know you are the real thing! Good for you! THANK YOU SO MUCH TEAL SWAN!! I felt called to do a "7 Day Chakra Challenge" I essentially made up myself (I'm aware others have done it) and I'm on the heart chakra today... going through the first 3 days I had the intuitive idea that this whole idea of underactive/overactive chakras was nonsense, and it was really just about opening them as much as possible. That any negative aspects of a chakra were either because it was too closed or were reflections of other chakras that were closed. Yet watching video after video and researching I couldn't find anyone else saying this... thank you for affirming my belief that a balanced chakra system is simply one where all chakras are fully open! Wonderful video, so much awesome advice here. Love your suggestions on crystals and essential oils - I find them oh so valuable in spiritual growth! Lots of interesting techniques and exercises too. Extremely helpful! My spiritual awakening which began a few years ago was most definitely a heart chakra opening, though I didn't know that at the time... you've encouraged me to reflect on this. These are just the models we use in our heads in order to talk about them and do work with them. Wow thank you for this precious knowledge. This month, September 2017, it s as if my heart has come alive. I spontaneously started to experiment talking from my heart. it feels very healing, and sometimes I talk and croon to myself. Also, I realised that keeping my chest open makes me feel the connection with my heart. It s very sweet, I am so grateful for this. I am going out on a limb as I am a newbie to these videos, I would suggest that the heart chakra is never out of alignment, our chatter brain and traumas have channeled our thoughts elsewhere and focus is out of alignment, rather than the chakra itself.

I never liked the color green for home deco unless it was a plant......but... my urge to paint rooms from a pale sage to deep sage and even a forest green in my bedroom for an animalistic rain forest retreat feel. I believe this was a heart chakra influence as my journey was about to start soon after

Hi Teal, I have been feeling a great deal of tension and pain in the heart chakra everyday. This has gotten worse in the last few months, especially when I feel the fear of losing my loved ones and overwhelming sense of impending grief. My parents were told that I have a weak heart, when I was little. I was afraid to tell them how I feel, because I didn't want to upset them or cause them distress... They're already have lots to deal with and worry about... I just wanted to say that your videos almost always appear at the very time when I need them the most. Thank you ever so much! Xx

A closed heart is difficult to open, if your parents have close heart, you feel it need be for survive, it became true. So, after many years trying to open my heart, i only had succeed when i worked it in the causal body, you need divine help to access there, than different energy start feeding your heart with power of healing. Then you see things different, easy, what was not you give up por something that is your. Clarity start flowing through your eyes to see.

A while ago I had a dream in which I believe I experienced unconditional love from the heart, it happened like this: I found myself in the dream state and thought it'd be fun to expand my heart energy, my consciousness instantly dropped inside of the heart and a white light started expanding and shooting in every direction, as it was happening, it felt like a strong pushing energy, that felt like it was validating, loving and appreciating really strongly but not in a way I have felt before, not comparable with human to human love, as it was happening I felt very vulnerable, opened and scared anything could attack me for some reason, I stayed in it for a bit, but it was so strong I felt like I was gonna blow up and it started hurting so I went out of it and woke up. That love energy was beyond anything that I've ever felt in this physical experience, it's beyond and it felt healing but the vulnerable aspect was really uncomfortable, possibly just healing, it makes you feel like crying as a way of releasing emotional pain. edit: it now makes more sense to me, when you love someone or something all you do is focus on that person or thing in a way that expands that unconditional love energy, that's why you then fall in love and become attached, you were programmed to work like that, but you can access this energy in another way to heal yourself, however it will bring up past trauma and love that which has been unloved which will feel scary and vulnerable at the same time!
