Brilliant, I am a 67 year old man, learning to do my own minor repairs, so I got one of these and, as usual, the instructions are a complete waste of paper. The machine should come with a link to this video, it would save a lot of time for people. You have a very nice clear accent too. Thank you for posting.😊🤞
Yeah, since my wife passed I decided to start doing my own little repairs instead of having to take my things to the shop, Even paying for small things like that adds up over time plus it feels a lot better to do it yourself.
This video was very helpful. As a disabled woman, my ability to press down on the footplate of a normal sewing machine was next to nil, and operating it with my hand while guiding the stitch through with other was super frustrating. This is a godsend when trying to make masks.
You can set your foot petal up so that you can operate it with your knee 😉 That's how I have mine as my feet don't touch the floor in any chair I sit in.
I have had this in my cabinet for YEARS and was always terrified of it. You have no idea how much you've simplified it and helped me understand how this awesome tool works!! Now to buy all the AA batteries because I'm on a mission!!!
This was extremely useful. I'm working on a project and I'm trying to find the cheapest but easiest way to sew without having to hand-stitch all of it. Thanks a lot! ❤
After reading many of the comments I am so glad I watched this before I even took it out of the box! I'll watch it again when I use it the first couple of times. Thanks for making this video so clear and easy to follow!
Thank goodness for this tutorial ~ just received the handheld sewing machine the other day and reading the instruction today and almost gave up - Lol. You saved me so much time figuring how this gadget works - especially threading a new bobbin of thread. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Majority of folks learn best by visual/show & tell rather than reading the instruction guide.
Best how to set up and operate these hand held sewing machine videos on youtube. Until I watched this I was going to throw the one I purchased in the bin. It was driving me nuts. I now know what I was doing wrong. Can’t thank you enough. As already mentioned the manufacturers of these gadgets should give you a commission for this demo 👍🏼
I've NEVER operated a sewing machine in my life, but this video made it so easy to understand how to sew! Thank you so much! You did an awesome job explaining everything in great detail. 🤗🥇😀
Same with me !! Had 0 experience with a sewing machine, handheld or full size. But after watching her video and reading others comments I thought Id give handheld one a try.
Thank you! I was trying to fix the hem on my blue jeans as was about to throw this thing out when I found your video. Not easy for a 56 year old guy but I finally got it!
As a completely clueless guy who literally spent hours trying to figure this machine out and ultimately decided to wing it and hope something would stitch (excuse the pun), thank you so much for this video. I've been doing it completely wrong the first time and the next time I had to use the thing, I couldn't remember what I did the first time and then I found your video with a search for "handheld sewing machine tutorial" and after watching it I felt like what I imagine cavemen would have felt when they finally figured out how to light a fire. I love the way you explain it all so clearly and effortlessly that even a 5 year old would get it. Your video was the complete opposite of the written instructions that came with the thing in terms of usefulness and I got the job done in less than 5 minutes after watching it. Subscribed to your channel even though I don't think I'll be sewing much at all. Thank you!
I have owned this machine for several years now , not knowing how to use it. Your video was absolutely excellent, and guided me perfectly ,allowing myself to finally use this little machine that i have wanted to own and work for ages now. Home DIY here I come!!!!🎉😊
This is so helpful. I just bought one for my hobby and this is making it less scary. And I could listen to your voice all day long. Thank you for this excellent video!
wow I had this machine collecting dust couldn't figure out how to thread it directions were terrible thx so much couldn't do it without you God bless u
Brilliant tutorial. I bought the same machine almost a year ago but never learnt to use it efficiently (honestly, the operating manual came with it in a small piece of paper is not of much help!). Now, after seeing your video I am gaining confidence. Thank you!!
thank you for this! My regular machine needs servicing, and I had been looking at these small ones on Amazon! I was curious, but afraid that I'd end up with something that I wouldn't be happy with. I truly appreciate this! So helpful, especially now! I hope you and yours are well!
You're welcome 😀. I was very skeptical about using this handheld sewing machine. Once I played around with it and worked out how to stop the stitches unraveling straight away I reckon it's not so bad after all!
The same with me! I was reluctant on purchasing one of these but didn't have the means to buy an entirely new Singer since mines needs service...This was helpful! So thankful
Thanks for the tutorial on how to work the handheld sewing machine. Those instructions are so small and hard to follow the diagram, but with your guide I can go right with you and assemble it and use it. Thanks again very helpful.
Thank you thank you!!! I've been struggling I had no clue the chain stitch woukd hold uf I knotted it at end, all my stitches would just come undone, and then my sister bought one and wanted to throw at the wall now I get it!!! Don't see it gor more than a lil mending job, but better than hand sewing with psoriatic arthritis!!! Lol
You're a life saver🙏🏻 I got gifted this some time ago and never really thought about using it, but lately I've been wanting to sew my own skirt from a pair of jeans I don't wear anymore and this video really helped me. Thank you so much.
Thanks! I've never been much of a sewer and started sewing masks and loved it so I started buying all kinds of stuff for sewing then my mom surprised me and sent this to me. Like I said I know nothing about sewing machines so this was very helpful!!! Thanks so much. You may hear back from me if I run into a problem.
Thank you so much dear, you gave us very clear instructions.😍😍😍 When I opened the package, I tried to follow the instructions in the paper. But I just didn't understand. So I browsed in RU-vid. Thanks God I found your video, it really saved my day ❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗
I have just found a Creative Place brand of hand held sewing machine at my local op shop for $10, with instructions and extra bits! This a fabulous video! No um and ah-ing, straight to the stitch. Thankyou so much! ✂️📍🧵🪡🇭🇲💖
Thank you so much. I was given this sewing machine as a gift. Never figured out how to use it. It's been 3 years now. I watched this and got it to work now I'm so excited like a little child😂😂
OMG! Thank you sooo much. I got the same machine from Amazon and the instructions are impossible to understand. They don't even mention the hook above the needle when threading. You are a life saver! ❤
Thank you very much, I'm a single dad. Have been trying to do this by hand the best I can whenever I can just bought one of these Trying to use it as an inexpensive soaring machine, thank you
I was having the same problem and after watching that guy's video my problem was completely solved, it even stitches better!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JszJZ3y3jkM.html

Absolutely brilliant video! I just used this machine for the first time with the tutorial. Easy and straightforward directions. You are RU-vid royalty!!
I've been always afraid of using this machine thinking I would never get the hang of it or understand how it works because I remembered my mom getting frustrated with it so many times when I was a child. Hesitantly I bought this today to do my own repairs and was ready to have the same reactions like my mom however you have saved so much time and now I know how to use it 😊❤
Thanks for explaining in detail. I have the exact same machine and couldn't figure out how to get it to work. I didn't hook the thread under the top arm. You're the best!
I am a very experienced sewer. My mother was a seamstress who taught me how to sew when I was very young but for the life of me I could not figure this machine out and the instructions were too small to read. Thank you for this video It explained everything.
Thank you so much. I just recently purchased this machine to hem my daughters pants. She's at that wierd in between stage of growth where nothing fits right. This tutorial helps a ton.
I just tested this but the thread still pulls out even if the fabric is turned and stitched over the top. The thread will need to be pulled through to the back to secure unfortunately. Good thinking though!
I need help with this. I think it is broken. It has been in the closet for years. I pulled it out today and found the video. I did everything right that I know of and changed the batteries 3 time and made sure they were put in correctly and even watched the video to be sure I was putting the batteries in correctly, but it will not start when I push the button even though I have made sure that it was unlocked. I’m ready to trash it unless you can tell me what I may be doing wrong. The motor won’t even start!!
thank you! I picked up one of these from aldi last week to fix some cushions and couldn't understand why the stitch kept unraveling 😖 you explained it all very well, can't wait to give it another go 👍
Great tutorial. I have been trying to find out how to secure the stitch as it kept just pulling out again so I was about to return it to the shop. This video explained it perfectly. Thank you.
Thank you for showing me how too use this. I had no clue, you were thorough and a fantastic lady , now I understand how it works. I've been sewing with the cord plugged in,🤷♀️ I could not find where too stick the batteries in🤦♀️🤣 .. such a simple and cute machine. What a fantastic instruction guide you shared. Thank you so much, much appreciated 😊
Had this in the box since 2019, finally opened it today and tried it. I noticed that the stich could just be undone by pulling the string. I'm glad I found your video, just about to try tying of a chain stich!
would u say this sewing machine is worth it? does it sew well, does the sewing stay after washing and does it sew thick fabric? like jeans or wool, thanks
I got my machine today and it worked beautifully until it became unthreaded…..and I spent hours threading it but it kept unthreading. I was about to toss it out. Thankfully I didn’t. After watching this, I learnt how important it is to thread from the back though to the front 🙌🙌🙌🙌 Thank you so much for this video. I’m a visual person so it made it super easy. I’m using it to sew on my handmade cards❤️
THANK YOU! Me and my mom have been trying to figure this out. The paper instructions that came with the machine were absolute TRASH, and the pictures were blurry and saturated- as if they were straight from a middle school science test. (lol). This helped an unbelievable amount, thanks again!
I followed the threading tutorial exactly, but my machine is still not making stitches. Any ideas? It was working fine with the pre-threaded sample cloth the machine came with.
Thank you thank you Domenica for this great video, excellent explanations, great shooting. I could not have done it by looking at the instructions manual but so easy with your video. thank you again
