Brilliant Video I read my manual about 10 times and it was very confusing, I watched your video once and I knew straight away how to use it ... Thanku :)
MandyMakes Crafts the opposite happened for me I am still crying from how stupid I am for not figuring this out glad your happy but I guess I will just sit here in a puddle of my own tears and giving up on sewing
Mateo Bowles spike has one of the problems if its still knotted up after fixing the tensions then you might have put in the bobbin in the wrong way, check both just in case
nice vid, thank you! to my question now: *none* of this vids demonstrates a sewing job for more than ~10cm. i bought what appears to be a Chinese rip-off, but looks/works *exactly* the same. Problem is that after about half a meter it messes up and everything unwinds (i am trying to sew a blanket) and i have to go through the whole trouble of putting the thread into the 7-step process... *big bummer!* Any advice please??
Thank you for teaching me this great lesson with this much of clarity and I will be very thankful to you because you properly taught me how to operate this Mini sewing machine
This video really helped me out a lot... I tried other videos too at first bt still ws nt able to start the machine after the last loop but nw I m able to do all of it. The real credit goes to this video😍😍😍😘😘
Thank you so much such an amazing video you saved my machine 😊😄By the way the most confusing part was 1.46 for me. Guys and girls dont just turn the button all the way forward or backward a little forward and backward l learned from hard way.
I am having trouble with mine I have done everything as the video and when I go to sew the bottom thread isn't attached only the top thread is my machine broken?
Affirmative - the voodoo in this thing is the needle thread being reliably picked up and passed over the bobbin - which, in my case is not happening. This video confirmed that my setup is correct - something either got borked in shipping, or fell through the quality control (???) process. Since mine came with a stitched piece of fabric in the machine, I'm going to assume these don't hold up to rough shipping.
Just bought mine. I'm 53 yrsold🙈! Yes! I am And yes I did..lol. Having a heck of a time putting thread through the little hole🤔. So I'm here..and I am so So freaking Excited to learn how to sew! I'm going to go watch this video .Thank you so much! Hi everyone from New Jersey!Any advice for this old timer.?.lol
I have a dressmaker 997h and for some reason I can't seem to figure out the foot pedal. The machine is in fact turned on, the pedal is plugged in, the speed was tried on and off and it still won't work. I'm new to using sewing machines considering I've always hand sewed so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I do not have a power cord but the machine can use batteries and the batteries I'm using are brand new and work. Any help?
Does it have zig-zag ability to sew on buttons? I already have a straight stitch machine; but more than anything else, I need to be able to sew buttons.
I have a question, do the stitches last(are they strong?) or do they break soon? I want to purchase a mini sewing machine but i'm afraid i'll end up topless because the stitches wouldn't last.
i've had this little thing for a few years now and just got it working for the very first time , just shortened a pair of sport pants, i'm proud of myself , but i have to admit i couldn't have done it without this tutorial, so Thank you.
i'm having trouble with the stitches taking. The threads don't hold together, so the stitches just come right out. I've tried adjusting the tension, made sure I was threading it right, watched the videos. I just don't know why it won't stitch. Any ideas?
Great tutorial. Thank you.One thing to consider if doing similar in the future: a white thread is not well visible against the white machine and white background, no matter how nice and clean everything looks, especially for people with worse eysight. A colorful thread would work better. I also join someone else who asked about the double thread use. Do you have a tutorial for that? One more question: the default (manufacturer's) thread is very thin. Can a thicker one (regular sewing thread) be used?
+Scrimshawwww That moment shows how you make the needle catch the bottom thread and bring it up for sewing. To do that you need to rotate the purple handle and make the needle movethe way it does while sewing.
Thank you so much for this simple, straightforward tutorial! I've had one of these machines for years and years, but always put off learning how to use it because even this small one seemed a little too complicated for me. Now I've just got to practice. :)
After stiching the cloths there's no lock the stitches untie after the process Can you please help me with that and foot padal doesn't work and also with batteries it doesn't work
