To simplify the Pokemon Center Registration, just use the "full-width character" section of Tenso's How to Enter Your Tenso Address, and copy the Japanese: Name (double-byte): If you can fit in this spot your Tenso Name from Row A, you should use that. If you can't fit it in the space provided, convert your Tenso Full Name to Kana as below with Furigana. Then convert the Furigana without the dots to Half Width dencode.com/string/character-width (Make sure all the characters fit, remove spaces in the Furigana if needed) Furigana (full-width): Convert your Tenso Full Name to Kana using link: www.sljfaq.org/cgi/e2k.cgi date of birth: Year Month Day sex: male / female post code: Copy from Row C, without dashes. prefectures: will fill in automatic from post code municipalities: Copy From Row E. In English or double wide? I think it will be ok without the character if you have to. Can try, and see if you have any issues with credit card acceptance, then adjust.

Thanks! You can have tenso hold your items for a couple bucks, then they charge you a couple more for every order you add to the first.

That was very helpful ! Thanks a lot. I registred at Tenso and bought 1BB from the 151 edition straight away (the orders started today). Resellers here in France already started selling these BB for 170-180€.. so even if Tenso charges me 40€ for shipping, that's still going to be half the price of the resellers here..

@@jmilz08 I only paid the importation VAT in France which is 20% of the total. The price will vary according to different countries. Some will also have custom fees so it's best to check your country's law before ordering.

@@PokemonFamClub I live in Italy, I paid €30 customs tax (customs charges + a percentage of the declared value). I used DHL but I don't think it depends on the transport company, probably if the declared value exceeds a certain number you pay the tax... Maybe next time I'll try to mark the product as another category of goods or i try not to declare the value... maybe it's just a matter of luck! For now I'm keeping the box sealed... but I don't know how long I can resist hahaha

FYI, Gamestop in-store only are accepting (while supplies last) starting Friday, 16th of June preorders for the UPC 151 (max of 4) at $5 per preorder. The $5 is refundable, but it will count towards the MSRP charge of $119.99 per UPC. In addition, on October 6th (For Gamestop) you can go in-store to buy your preorders you reserve and either pay cash or use your card. They will hold your reservation starting the 6th for 48 hours. Hope this info helps. Smart move by GS to not advertise this on their site as you must make your reservation in person. Don't pay scalper prices! Cop the W! Good luck all! LFG!

Thanks for the guide! I had the problem that my English name was too long for the pokecentre (Tenso everything worked without problems). But since kana is the official script in Japan, the name written out in katakana should be sufficient. I'll keep you posted. at the same time, I wrote an email to Tenso and pointed out that I had to abbreviate my first name to English.

I think it will work out, because they will use your tenso number in the building line first, and then your name second, so I would want the name as close as possible, but I think a couple characters difference likely wont matter. But getting it all perfect by talking with them, is definitely the safest bet.

Thanks! Pokemon Center will tell you when it ships. Tenso will tell you when it arrives. All by email. The site says these will ship between Sept and Dec, so it could be awhile.

Thanks, tenso does say they will inspect the contents of your boxes to make sure you're not breaking any laws. It also says "In general, the Package Consolidation Service will utilize the cardboard which originally came with the packages to repackage and consolidate the shipment. Question, I just started my tense account. And obviously it says it can take 2 days to verify identity documents. But when I went on the Pokémon centre website it says I have till the 21st to buy a box. Can I buy one and use the tenso address etc? Or do I have to wait for tenso to verify my documents before hand? Hope that makes sense sorry

When a place like tenso ships, you choose who they ship with and if there's tracking; so you can pick DHL with tracking. As for 151, it's not a lottery, it's made to order, you are just signing up to buy 1 box.

Made to order doesnt do much in a market like this. Every address can get like 1 box, well you can guess they will open it themselves or keep it. So I believe this set will keep rising. Made to order for a Japanese market is just way to little knowing half the world jumps on it.

I agree, since most people want more then 1 box, this will not do a ton to help people chasing whole sets or chase cards, but it will help those that just like 1 box, reducing a lot extra demand. Still, if you want more then 1 box, you're gonna pay double or more for it.

Can I use my english written name as Furigana if it fits? I tried using the english to katakana converter but I have seen it convert my name back to English on the Pokemon customer information page and it is different to my actual name now

Hey there! Thanks for the video - I purchased a box of 151 last night, but I didn't get an email from Tenso, nor do I have any "pending items" or "items under process" listed on Tenso. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong?

You won't hear from tensor until they get your shipment from Pokemon Center. The shipping dates are between Sept and December, so it's going to be awhile. You will get a notice from Pokemon Center when it ships.

I attempted to use the Japan rabbit service to get my made to order box but for whatever reason, they keep canceling my order because "purchase limit has been reached" ... Idk what that means? I haven't ordered one yet... 😕

I don't know for sure, but I'm willing to bet Pokemon Center will not allow limited products where you can only get 1 per household to go to the same exact address. Otherwise, everyone would make multiple accounts.

Hi. Just watch your video today. I created account and ordered with both name being in English, instead of Katakana like in the video for 2nd one. Will my order have issue or cancelled out? I never won a lottery, and never order anything yet aside from the recent booster box (made to order). Kindly advise

No, I think you should be fine with that. Tenso has both versions of your name, and they use the tenso number to process your package anyway.

You can try your English name in the first box on Pokemon Center if it fits. If it doesn't fit, follow the simplified steps I put in the Pinned post and hopefully that clears it up!

Each Tenso account has a unique id, but multiple accounts will ship to the same building.

Whenever I click to go to the receptions page it just takes me to "my page", not what you had displayed at all. I'm using Chrome on mobile.. could that be the issue? Anyways, thanks again!

for Municipalities you first highlighted "Adachi-ku" then pasted "Adachi Ward" then on next screen it was back to "Adachi-ku". A little confused which one is the correct entry. Could you please confirm. thanks

@@PokemonFamClub lol that just made it more confusing. you said initially to put the english name in the double-byte field. On tenso it says to enter the name as it appears on tenso, meaning in english...but in your pin post you're converting to Kana. so which is it

@@ArtiVisualIntelligence When making the video I just put "Pokemon Club" as my fake Tenso account name. Because that is so short, it would work on Pokemon Center in both Names. I redid all the steps today to try and make it clearer and then recalled what I did with my real account, which was the two step conversion. If you can fit whatever is on Row A in the Halfwidth character spot, you're good to go. If you can't, then I recommend the conversion process.

The made to order period for 151 ended. There's currently no open lotteries or made to order request. No sets are available for sale on the site, they all sell out these days. At some point they'll have more lotteries and more made to order periods for future sets.

So if your first name doesn't fit, it's okay to use half width for both? And then...when I see the translated version it doesn't have a 100% match it's more of an 80% match to my full name.

I personally did this Name (double-byte): If you can fit in this spot your Tenso Name from Row A, you should use that. If you can't fit it in the space provided, convert your Tenso Full Name to Kana as below with Furigana. Then convert the Furigana *without the dots* to Half Width dencode.com/string/character-width (Make sure all the characters fit, *remove spaces in the Furigana if needed*) Furigana (full-width): Convert your Tenso Full Name to Kana using link: www.sljfaq.org/cgi/e2k.cgi If that still doesn't work, then I think you'll be fine with double-byte for both.

It could honestly be next year for some of the shipments of this. What I will do is wait to know that this box is getting shipped, and then shop for other items on PC or elsewhere that can show up at tenso around the same time, then ask tenso to combine them. Pokemon Center shows that it could be as late as December unfortuntily, but gave a range of Sept-Dec. With the amount of hype and orders, there's a chance it could take longer.

Has anyone had experience winning the lotteries using tenso? as 2 tenso accounts can technically have the same address only difference being the account number, I've heard people say pokemon center automatically block tenso entries.
