Hi Sir. Nice vdeo. Can i ask if the exported enc updates from chartco already contains your base?and no need import base dvds? for my experience we still load/import base dvds..thanks in advance
Hi, thanks for comment. You still can use DVDs if you got it(it's believed that direct official product from Admiralty more preferred), but it's not necessary anymore, it's altogether already in update file when you downloaded from Chartco and automatically installing on ECDIS
❤sir ano po fb nyu patulong sir paano pag na import muna yung permit galing email tapos import sa one ocean ano po kasonod sir export na yung permit papunta sa ecdis d na ba kaylangan e updated yung permit na bago mong order sir at paano
Hi! If OneOcean is installed on your computer and it has internet, it is usually updated automatically. Every week you get permits and updates according to a schedule, which you download and then install in ECDIS as shown in the video. The permits that are emailed are the same. If you ordered a new chart, you will get a new permit and usually updates that are not part of the weekly schedule. If for some reason you received a permit from your chart supplier via email, but it still doesn't show up in OneOcean, import that permit into OneOcean (there's a button-import permit), the system will be updated, and you'll get chart updates. But usually, if OneOcean is working well, this is all done automatically. If you have problems with OneOcean (sometimes it doesn't update or it doesn't update on time), write an email to the support team, whose contacts you can find on the OneOcean program help page (I don't remember exactly, but somewhere there). OneOcean support usually always responds and gives instructions on what to do in case of problems.
