How to Organize a Small Linen Closet

For such a small space it looks so pretty :) Just a tip for those that might not know: put the corner's of one side of the fitted sheet INTO the other and then you only have 1 elasticated side showing and fold as normal (hope that makes sense)

I just happened to be doing laundry when I was watching the video. I had to laugh with you about folding fitted sheets. I had just folded one and it looked like a car wreck, but who really cares, when we can hide them in a basket. I love baskets, have them all over my office and sewing area to conceal the messes. TY, once again for a useful how to video. The baskets are a fabulous idea for the sheets. Suggestion: When you discover a great deal on an organizing products post a short video clip and tell us where you found the item; how much (SKU) and how you plan on utilizing.

I have been watching at least one of yours video a day for the last two weeks because I get inspiration with practical information at organizing. And I use the info on my small two room apartment with a small closet [I only have the one closet] and a small bathroom. And I have no income, so I am using what I have. Your videos are very practical and shows every day things that every one uses, both organizing tools and your "stuff" that you organize as well. So many organization videos that are on here show very large closets with an unspeakable amount of shoes, scarves, purses, jackets, jewelry, cloths, and other accessories. Only one of those I have several of and that is scarves, but that is only because I have made most of my scarves that I own; I crochet.

a really cool trick is putting all the bedding that is the same set into the pillow case of that set. that way each set is all together and you don't have to search for matching bedding...you can just pull out the pillow (and you can see which set it is based on the pillow) and its super easy! i love that trick. :)

OOO sheet idea... fold both sheets and one pillow case and then place all in one of the pillow cases and fold closed. Volla! perfect square of sheets!

Fold the ends in to the center first, then fold in half. Go from there it will look almost like your flat sheets.

I love the basket idea, I am definitely going to use that for my linen closet. Lucky my closet is a bit bigger so using the baskets will not only look great but I have the space to incorpurate other baskets and shoe boxes for items. Thanks for the video, look forward to more videos.

@Aida- I have a suggestion for you. I fold my sheets and then put them in 1 of that sets pillowcases. Keeps everything together and clean looking in the linen closet.

The baskets are a great idea for linen. Where I currently live, doesn't have a linen closet so I have them in boxes above the wardrobe, but I am moving and at the new place there is a linen closet, so I am looking forward to having organized towels and sheets and I might try getting baskets like you have. one thing I do when folding sheet sets is I take one of the matching pillow cases and put the flat and folded sheets in them, keeps them all together and if you have the pillow case inside out will keep them dust free as well

Heyy, great videos. I watch them all the time. I have a quick tip that I use in my closet with a family of four and 3 different sized beds, with endless sets of sheets. If you fold the fitted sheet, top sheet and one of the two pillow cases in a set and stack them in that order, you can slide them into the remaining pillow case and fold over the opening to keep them from getting mismatched. We then have them sorted on the shelves by size, king and twin on one shelf and queen on another.

We go to the Catchpenny Car Boot Sale in April every year and do the 'Toilet Roll Dash' ! They sell 40 rolls for £8 English money. Very good quality too. We keep some in the garage, stack some in the linen cupboard and then I sell some on to family and friends. The car is always crammed full of toilet rolls every April hahaa (just thought id share that story !)

Someone may have already suggested this, but fold the fitted sheet as neatly as possible, & the same width as the flat sheet to fit into the wicker box. Use one of the pillowcases (put the other pillowcase in between the flat & fitted sheet) to slide the flat & fitted sheet into it, fold over the surrounded pillowcase edges, then you could sit that in those wicker boxes, keeping everything together & neat looking.
