Whats up fam, today we are going to attempt to clean up the wiring and electronics for the waterbox 7225 aquarium reef tank build. I refuse to buy a 100-300 controller board because 1. I am cheap 2. I have a long board under neath my tank. I can easily place the controls on the board but what do we do with all the dangling wires. I found this cheap product to help us hide it.

I totally understand why you did not want to pay the money for the control board. The hobby is expensive as it is and some times I wonder if any of these companies understand that their product as good as it is not every body can afford it. I’m glad you are honest on why you are not buying the control board and doing your own board. 👍👍👍👍

Love the build. Following along. I was wondering if you can drill this tank and add your own overflow instead of buying there?

I appreciate it. You can drill the tank. I wrote waterbox and they told me it’s not tempered glass. I actually have a Fiji cube overflow with drill bits but after I received the tank I decided to leave the tank as is and go with an hang on overflow style

it looks good right now but once the tank is up and running it is going to be a pain to get to those controllers thats why most people like to make a section under the tank dedicated to the electronics of a false wall to hold everything and make it easy to access

Use an Aquaclear 110, tunze protein skimmer for the 110 and an intank media carrier. Add on also an additional coralife filter skimmer. Don’t forget coral box overflow boxes for the filters and anemone guards for your wave pumps. Go to 4 on the wavemakers and point in different directions. The aquaclear in a short time will become its own algae scrubber as algae grows on the front of the return to tank part of the filter box.
