can you do a tutorial on how to get to the "OS type cus iv looked all over yt and cant find it and i went in bios and still cant find it idk where it is and yes im in advanced bios under boot any tips?

I works for the 1ms on the controller but now i can‘t start most games because anti-cheat Software won‘t work if you have driver signature enforcement disabled

For EVERYONE who is experiencing red/ not filtering on device I had this problem also and I had to go into the Bios and change the Windows profile to other Enter the bios Make sure you are in advanced mode go into boot / secure boot Change the option were is says OS type to other from UEFI. This fixed windows blocking the program for me. Hope this fixes it for you :) (Basically this blocks the program from running and changing this should fix it conflicting)

Ive overclocked my elite 2 and it was 7.6 Ms consistently. However, after a firmware update, and a new overclock, it gets 4.3ms to 8.3ms.

You have to change the Bios setting I did another comment explaining how.

So you can't do this and then play on a console and it work then right? The overclock is not actually installed into the controller, it's on the computer right?

What I would do is delete the whole file you installed and redo the process and make sure it has installed onto your PC correctly & see how you go from there

For the 577 error you need to make sure the secure boot option is disabled for your PC The first and only thing that you really need to do is to disable Secure Boot (or make some Registry setting equals to disabling Secure Boot). This is what readme recommends.

Once you have done it you don’t need to have it open. If you controller ever feels laggy again just check it quickly 😁

100% the difference of gameplay/feel of lag is less. The controller feels more direct if done correctly 😁

Nope the only controllers that truly go to 1 ms are the ps5 controllers. The A fusion pro is the only xbox controller that can hit 4ms. All others are 7+ms

Nah all xbox controllers are hard capped at 5-5.5ms lmao. Dual shock and some other custom controllers can get to about 2.5ms.

Are you able to open up the Xbox accessories app. That is where you are able to change your button layouts for the elite :)

This LITERALLY just reduces the reaction time from your controller to your PC ... has nothing to do with anything!.. It can't be detected by Ricochet JUST like a CRONUS ZEN (actually cheating, and this is not cheating ONE BIT!) can't be detected by the Ricochet Anti-Cheat even though i wish it could be just to put that into more context for you man,this shouldn't get anyone shadow banned/banned at all bc it's just making your controller do what it should out of the box to be honest with yah!! ...You got shadow banned for something else my friend... watch who yah play with!!!

ok actually i fixed my controller it turns on now but everytime i try to overclock it doesnt work im guessing it doesnt work for xbox controllers

@@kylewberry6373 Unlink driver from mouse/controller through SETUP.EXE (Filter = Unchecked) If you have delete a driver but not unlink it from mouse then the mouse will stop working. To make mouse working you can just delete device, corresponding to mouse in Device Manager, then scan for new devices. Or use SETUP.EXE -> [All] or [with Problem] or [with HIDUSBF] Devices -> [Filter On Device] is Unchecked -> [Restart] If you deleted the file without unchecking filter on device this is why the controller has stopped working find it in your settings and delete the controller and re add and should be fine. Also !! Warning - overclocking may not work for Low Speed USB devices which controlled by non Microsoft USB stack, like OEM USB 3.x drivers at Windows 7 or with the newest Microsoft drivers. You need to make sure you have disabled secure boot also 😁 !!! Warning 2 - you SHALL disable Secure Boot or modify the Registry accordingly to enable loading of Microsoft unsigned drivers to load HIDUSBF driver successfully under Windows 10 x64 version 1607 (Anniversary Update) or newer versions. Hopefully all works out for you mate 😁 let me know how you go 💪

There is a lot of information on the GitHub site, Feedback issues and troubleshooting every controller/system is different. Give it a look and you should be able to resolve your problem :)

no xbox is locked to 250hz iirc which is plenty fast enough for a 144hz monitor they only would be lagging on 360hz monitors which no normal gamer owns waste of time unless you play competitive and tourneys my xbox elite 2 is 1ms latency on pc so idk what you would be gaining by burning your rollers chips my msi monitor is also 1ms so 1ms monitor 1ms roller at 250hz my monitors only 144hz what would you possibly gain unless your running a 360hz monitor

You’ll have to disable secure boot from your bios. This is what I had to do on my new computer. I’ve explained in comments under how to do this.

You kids so lost just copy what everyone else says 😂 I have tested several Xbox pro controllers and all can be overclocked. Only stock Xbox Microsoft licensed controllers can’t be overclocked… my victrix gambit went from 3.89ms average to 0.91 after overclock lmao you just slow

I’m mentioned this in other comments. You have to disable secure boot in the bios settings this might be your issue :)

OC only gives more consistent input, keeping it between 3ms-8ms. Still better than no OC.

Without overclock 3.89 ms. Tested with xinput 😂 it’s a fact bro they’re recording latency fool so yes it definitely works

@@mechlovin5608 Xbox controller are hardware lock on how much you can overclock it, the victrix gambit is the only xbox controller that can but not as much as playstation controllers 🤦

Definitely works you slow bro. Only stock Microsoft controllers can’t be OC. Victrix gambit is OC and I get 0.93 ms tested with xinput tester but whatever bud 🤦‍♂️🤣

definitely doesn’t download xinput mapper see what ur controllers latency’s are guarantee it’s at 8.7 ms the ui that’s in the controller won’t let you overclock it look at it your self

unless you mod the controller you 100% cannot change the poll rate on a elite controller

@@hunterberlin1035 I’m not sure about the mapper/app you’re using. The controller it self from standard to overclocked “FEELS” more direct. I tested it multiple times overclocked to not overclocked. And you can tell the difference. Have a wonderful day legend! :)

@@SK8TRBUOY i apologize if i was being negative in any way you can download xinput test then you can test the latency i have a elite controller and i unfortunately couldn’t get it past stock maybe it stables out the numbers so it might feel smoother i just never could get it to 1 ms

just close the app and open it again. it worked for me. and when im using ds4 it says that my controllers input lag is below 0 now

Reducing the latency from the USB port from 5ms to 1ms is NOT cheating, It’s getting the best performance out of your controller 😁

It can and definitely does work to reduce the latency/input delay.

For using a Xbox controller I can confirm it does help maybe not as fast as ps5 but it definitely decreased the input delay
