That SCUF controller is not overclockable. That is why after tou set it to 1000, the polling rate in the test didn't change. It was still 566. The PS5 controller is overclockable. That is why it did change. The Xbox controller isn't overclockable either.
@@mickeyn.5059 Scuf Reflex' Are overclockable. the instinct and envision are not. The software allowing you (or showing as overclocked) does not mean the chip on the controller is overclocked In theory yes you can use the software to overclock the envision and the instinct but in practise it doesnt do anything
I noticed that the black wired Scuf Envision (non pro) is the only version that states it has a "Low latency wired connection". The Pro states it has "ultra-fast wireless connectivity" but doesn't mention anything about it's wired capabilities. I wonder if the wired version will be overclockable.
@@L0ELIIFE I don't think it will I just made a test with my DS4 wireless and it gives me ~ 4ms with default 244hz And 2.1ms with 472hz when the BT pool rate set to 500 And 1.3ms with 770hz when the BT pool rate set to 1000 So I assume each of these controller will work with a different pooling rate when its connected to BT.
@@mhnoni it’s been tested and the results are the same. There are a few different folks who’ve tested this on YT. One of the people who come to mind is GamerHeaven but others have done so as well. Maybe vCuda. But yeah the results are out there.
I used to be an avid Scuff controller player, that is, until I got my Victrix controller (XBox/ PC), over a year ago. I love that controller. Not sure how to overclock controllers or if you can even overclock the Victrix but it plays as if it is. Superfast! Along with the hairline trigger stops, playing COD changed forever for me. I'm curious how this new Scuff Envision will play, wired.
I have the envision, both wireless and wired feel the same. It has been the best controller to me. And I have had the victrix, wolverine, elite series 2, BattleBeaver (Which I like), Scuf Instinc and Reflex (Which were shit). The envision to me is the most comfortable. That is my opinion though.
Good video ! I swear I look for the latency controller software that you have what is the name of this ? Or can I find it and where ? Please answer me !
looks like the polling rate is only capped to 563hz over 1k? hmm whats the reflex pro and instinct pro have usually for input delay? or even the elite v2 ?
the paddles are working as designed after OC ? In my case i broke my instinct pro after this action some time ago i feel that the controller has only one memory slot custom for profiles . and not posssible to remap one paddle even iif it bright white when you try tormap it. take care of your controller !
It changes the whole feel of the controller G trust me if you go from a envision pro to an edge OC'ed to 8000hz you will feel like your sensitivity just 1.5xed (i know this for a fact cause i made the switch XD) the overall gameplay just became better in my case
Disclaimer this doesn't really have to do with your video but it does controllers. Hey I have used many controllers in the past so far since the new updates to the ps5 controllers where you can boost the overclock to 8000 I only really want to play with ps5 controllers. I heard you talk about the ps5 edge I have used a Battle bever and a ps5 amazon paddle installation but have not tried the ps5 scuf or the ps5 edge So I was wondering if you have tried either and how you feel about them I was looking at getting one of those 2 or this one but now that I know its capped at 1000 and has issues I will be looking at the ps5 edge or scuf.
Ive noticed that overclocking the Scuf Envision Pro doesn’t do anything. Ive done test’s with the USB & wireless. Funny enough, im getting a better polling rate & consistent ms ranging from 0.9-3.0
Interesting mine only reports 2. -3. I tried different ports and multiple different times at first i thought it was me but after watching others test seems as though you are the only one getting that speed would you be willing to test that controller on another pc I’m wondering if you just got a better controller or if it’s your pic it self because I can still return mine if I have gotten a dud
I did like that controller but after awhile I noticed my hands started to bother me. Then I noticed that the controller is smaller than even a xbox controller towards the part where you place your hands. I had to return it.
wait i really hope you see this and respond you said if i overclock my controller to 8000 instead of a 1000 i can get FPS drops and stuff is that really true
I dont know if tis just me but when I use this controller when plugged in it feels faster than when wireless, despite how it is supposedly ultra fast wireless.
can this controller be used without ICUE??? it seems that it ONLY works if ICUE is installed but id rather not use ICUE if i can help it and just use it like any other controller for the PC
Does the controller keep the overclocking after it’s plugged into a different device? Like if i plugged it into the ps5 after overclocking it on my pc.
How does it feel in hand compared to the ds5? I have a dual sense edge im and I dislike it, it feels so huge in hand it’s uncomfortable imo. but I do notice the difference compared to the Xbox controller I have. I haven’t even OC’d it and it feels much more responsive. I’m hoping the wireless mode is similar polling rate and response time. I wouldn’t see why not all my mice g pro super light all have high polling rate that feels no different from a wired mouse.
Hey do you know how i can fix the stick drift i tried raising the deadzone on the app but it made it feel like i was on 20 deadzone and i couldnt make any minute adjustments to my aim
I personally leave all the deadzones on that app at 0 and then just change it on cod. It seemed much more snappier and helped my aim but just switching in in cod
After jumping into the Scuff hype wagon, I bought me a Scuff Instinct Pro, and I'm just three months m, I started getting stick drift on the right Joystick. Never again I'll buy a Scuff controller in my life. Now I bought a FlyDigi Vader 3 Pro, best controller ever, which replaced my Victrix Gambit, and ThrustMaster eSwap Pro
You know that the drift comes from dust on the joystick sensors and you can fix it in 5 min by popping the joystick off since you can do that on Scuf controllers and opening the green thing and cleaning it with a q-tip. There are plenty of tutorials on RU-vid.
the powerA xbxox controllers have 4ms delay out the box cuz higher pollingrate than standard xbox controllers. u can go to 1k but no real benefit.@@Louwhie
I just made a test with my DS4 wireless and it gives me ~ 4ms with default 244hz And 2.1ms with 472hz when the BT pool rate set to 500 And 1.3ms with 770hz when the BT pool rate set to 1000 I doubt you will see a difference < 5ms. so all looks good IMO.
It is weird to me that no one has noticed, but this is just a Scuf Vantage 2; instead of PS4 and a volume slider. It is PC and has G buttons where the volume slider was. This controller has a lot of the same (non-software) features that the Vantage 2 had. Oddly enough, people hated the Vantage 2; but love this controller? Although yeah has mechanical buttons, etc. but it really is a re-skinned and updated Vantage 2. They should have just launched as "Scuf Vantage 3"; but I can see why they didn't do that. As that controller wouldn't sell.
Im really not impressed with the envision at all. I really wanted it to be great. The triggers and sticks are way to sensitive. You cannot overclock it without issues like losing aim assist and you cannot put stick extensions on without it hitting the case limiting your movements. They definitely need to make some improvements
@TheSpenceBoogie definitely not lies I'll be on stream tonight and will show you exactly what I'm talking about with the exception of overclocking it again because it's pointless. I will however show I'm running it not overclocked. You literally have to set the trigger deadzone high enough or they constantly go off by themselves.
@TheSpenceBoogie You can say cap all you want, but you can't argue with live video evidence 😂. Hopefully the newer versions will work a little better. I love the controller they just have to make a few adjustments.
@@Louwhie do you think the last firmware update they pushed dropped the speed ? I’m currently try to roll mine back but can’t find the old firmware you are the only one getting these amazing numbers
Guys how do i do this overclock on my PS5 edge controller? I tried before on a custom ps5 controller from hypr(dont buy from them btw, they are trash and ignore your issues) and it bugged my controller, specifically cutting off the left thumbstick functions and not OC at all.
@@JaYgRiFfSTuBe yeah that had me hella confused but i think it’s cause he was spinning the stick before he opened the test. Cause when i open the test then spin the stick the first number that pops up is like 1000ms which brings the average way up
.75 ms !???? Howww bruh the lowest I ever see was .9 I got mines plugged into the best usb 3 port connected to mobo an I got it overclocked same way n same program
I bought a scuff instinct pro about 2 months ago and soon as I received it, it had stick drift. Although they were pretty fast about the RMA I feel like I shouldn’t have to spend )$250 on a controller just to wait for it to show up for two weeks before o then be disappointed and have to return my BRAND NEW controller to get repaired. So from the time of purchase to the time I actually got to use the controller was about a month. Since getting my controller back within two weeks the B button is already getting stuck…… I hardly even use the buttons because I use the paddles. I see they at least dropped the price for this one a bit but as I can see still hitting you with the ole left stick drift right out the gate. That’s gonna be a easy pass for me😂😂😂have a good day man.
@@shipwreck19 I’ve been liking my controller but that stick drift is getting to me. I feel like this big of a company should always run tests on these controllers before they ship them out.
Might just be the chip that they use tbh. It seems hard ware locked. If they made it with 1k polling rate it’d be an instant cop for me. Looking at these numbers and know that ps5 controllers Can overclock to 8000hz which means .125ms response time, it’s a no brainer that the scuf reflex pro is most likely the best option for a pro custom controller with the lowest delay
@@DaLions_Den It does not on a mid to high end gaming machine. Been tested by many creators. But it’s all good. Just like how there are 8k mice and keyboards. I use both daily no issues. Matter of specs. 👍
@@BeHempy and why exactly would i be capping my controller literally came out with stick drift, the paddles are hard to press im not lying brother lmao
Iv switched to my edge controller. Just wish it was 4 rear buttons but I can get by with it and adjust. Response time is quicker than the 2 trash hypr custom controller I have. Able to switch out the thumb sticks is a total W
People saying cap clearly haven't purchased this controller themselves. I have a troll all over my comment sticks won't center and the triggers constantly register even when sitting on a table lol. Having to immediately set the deadzone at 3 or above on a brand new controller is not cool. I'm very disappointed in this one
1 ms isnt gonna be noticable at all. For anyone that is unaware, there is 1k milliseconds in a second, and if you think you're gonna notice a 1/1000 delay, then let me know what you're smoking.
