I was a introvert once. Then I started to realize I need confidence. So I developed it in me. So now I have confidence. But I still got lot to become more stable ❤❤
This is facts, I always stutter so much it makes me go red and sound like I’m going to cry from my voice if I don’t know what I’m talking about fully confidently, but when I was younger I’d go over and over again my debates to the point I wouldn’t have to look at my notes and speak from memory, that helped me with nerves
That’s exactly what worked for me as well. And now I am working on perfecting my craft. Thanks this is more on point in my view than having to picture people naked which is very dirty and polluted in my opinion.
Yesssss, this helped me today in the traning I went for, and at the end my audience was so impressed and they confess I was the bwss the have had.. I had to make them understand why they need to hear what I have for them in a very realistic manner and they were able to relate which made me comfortable

True...that's the exact strategy I use. To add, talk slowly, it will help you to breath which result in calming your nerves. With looking, you don't need to really look at people, just stand straight and look at the entire room in that way you'll be able to move around a little bit. I guess debating in high school is paying off🤭

Picturing the audience NAKED worked well for me. It really does work. I kept my eyes on just women. I later was told by others that that was one of my greatest speeches.
It's kinda like doing a speech in class ,you first have to prepare and repeat every single sentence over and over again ,then when you get in front of your classmates ,your topic would just flow.
I used to debate in high school.,yes its bloody scary standing infront of everyone, staring up at you . This exact trick is very vital. Learn your topic and know deeply about it., and be engaging and engaged with your audience. Its been years since i did a public speaking, i think i would be nervous like the ffirst time,..just the thought alone😅 but hey one has to do it anyway despite being nervous your confidence will come through practice. One of my hobbies is to inspire and be positively impactul to the young people
