tip for people who use monitors with a 21:9 or 32:9 aspect ratio, use dear diary, it both retextures skyui inventory, magic menu and all of that stuff and supports ultrawide.
Yesss. As a 21:9 user, man ui is such a pain. There is a 21:9 Nordic UI mod but it has no FOMOD and a lot of things (main menu, loading screen, etc) are still in 16:9, and a lot of patches are missing
Mern already diligently covered this in the video, but for those who might have skipped through and missed it: Better Dialogue Controls Better MessageBox Controls Flashing Savegames Fix are all included with Nordic UI. Maybe it's ok, but duplicating these by also installing their standalone versions could cause problems. Always read the mod page in full! That warning aside, great video Mern. You got me into SkySA (so it's your fault I've spent dozens of hours re-modding my skyrim se). Also your music is banging, I'm starting to write music myself so I know how hard it is.
Another bit of advice: Be aware if your UI mods have ".dll" files with them. This makes them version dependent and you need to be aware of what game version you're running. Also UI mods use ".swf" files. If these types of files are overwritten in the wrong way to make the game think they are missing the game will crash. Any inconsistency with ".swf" files, usually, results in a crash. You need to be very particular and careful when installing multiple UI mods.
Although i knew or have most of those mods, that was even for me really helpful. Especially the last part and the setup parts - thanks for the vid, Mern!
I find it very very impressive how massive and hardworking the modding community in gaming is. Games like skyrim just showcase that by being very open and moddable.

Just wanted to say love these picks , for whatever reason I couldn't get the starting menu to work in nordic ui but in game it's totally fine and the sounds work too which is awesome and I can live with having a different title screen lol!

Yo Mern, I've been watching your videos for a while, and have really appreciated all the guides that you make. I have one question that I think you could help me with. HDT physics extension isn't on SkyrimSE edition, and I can't find any other way for there to be good physics in the game. Could you explain how you got your characters to have the physics? The problem is: TDM mod require TrueHud mod, but when i install TrueHUD -> TDM -> InpaSekiro mod, the UI bars is display as vanilla bars :( it's seem like the game recornize TrueHUD bars instead of InpaSekiro bars, even i make InpaSekiro plugin load after the TrueHUD. So i checked your mod list and i see there is no TrueHud mod, didn't you install it? Please please help me, i really need your help :( thanks again
Hey kinda off topic to the video you made but I gotta say your edits you made to Zangdars rudy ENB look even better than what zangdar did himself in my opinion. You made Dungeons dark with real nice orange lights which I love. Is there anyway you can send a link to your Custom ENB Files for rudy enb? It really looks amazing and I can't seem to replicate it on my own list even though I have the same graphics mods.
two questions about UIs 1. how do you move the experience gained position after killing an enemy, mines up in the left corner. 2. how did you remove the seconds on the loading screen time from Nordic UI. can't seem to figure these two things out if anyone can assist me, please and thank you!

I use Vortex for my mod manager and I have True Directional Movement. Where do I go to open the FOMod? I can't seem to find anywhere or anything about how to get to that menu. The help is appreciated.

For anyone using an xbox elite controller, I'll just throw this out there as it might be useful to somebody. Buy REWASD, assign the paddles to shift modes, and in each shift mode assign hotkeys for items in game. For example, I have it set up so I can hold a paddle, and AXBY becomes 1234 whilst I have that paddle held, I hold a different paddles, and they become 5678, a third paddle, 90-= etc....I've tried setting this up with the steam controller configuration and I just cant get it to work using the paddles, but it works fine using the bumpers if you wanna do that and save yourself about £15
I am new to Skyrim and modding. I decided to buy SE and go for the 1.5.97 version. I am installing first mods these days but I didn't yet configure them ingame or with their .ini files. Is there a good approach to save and edit all configurations in case in the future I would like to re-use them? Thanks
nordicui is no longer working with the health bar that true directional movement installs instead of it being above the enemies head it is a bar on the bottom of the screen how do I fix it

What does one do if they can't find the mods on Xbox? Been looking for SkyUI for like 5 minutes, plus whenever I try to use a font mod, it doesn't work at all.
right now inp is broken as every hit causes stun. so i have been getting my self in a lot of stun locks so inp is on the shelf for the moment anyone else have some fun combat mods (inp =Inpa Sekiro Combat)
Ehy mate, I've followed the instruction yet the Sekiro's HUD is not appearing in game. I've done everything you said with NordicUI and so on, yet bars arent working as they should be. Do I need to activate the HUD in game? Since in mod's description is written to "- Load preset in MCM". How do I do that?
i looked into it, but i was dissapointed to find out that maintaining a wabbajack is absolutely ridiculous if even one mod updates from you load order, the entire pack will be broken, and nobody will not be able to install it my load order consists of 1000+ mods, so no way in hell would i do that, simply too much effort that i would rather spend on other projects

What is the mod that makes damage dealt show up on the enemy health bar in yellow like at 0:09? Ive been searching everywhere to try and find what exactly does that and I cant find it.
