@@ufprogear I'm working on turning my Medium Sized Old School OD (Olive Drab) Green 3 Day MOLLE Pack in2 as much a Outdoor Urban Hybrid Pack as I possibly can inside-out by storing variety of Military/Tactical Camouflage Pattern Storage as well as Solid Colored Storage in the Front Pockets that don't have any built-in organization as well as Main Pocket & attach variety of mostly Solid Gray/Grey MOLLE Pouches especially few OD (Olive Drab) Green MOLLE Pouches on2 the exterior/outside! Just how cool/neat does that sound 2 y'all!
Just a tip if your NPA has no lube, medic trick is to place the NPA in the unresponsive person mouth and then use the NPA. Luka you are an amazing teacher with your videos!
Weird, I would think packages of bleedstop would be better than carrying a tourniquet, if you had to choose. I could be wrong, I have both in my car, but I'm not a medic. I have two large bags in the truck filled with trauma supplies, hoping if I ever need it to help someone that God will provide someone that knows what to do with it.
Seems this is a video clip for UF Pro customers in the 🇺🇸 - I don’t think that most of this EDC are required in 🇸🇮 - 🇸🇮is a nice country and the 🇸🇮people are peaceful. I understand that SF like to carry their EDC nevertheless- anyway a cool 😎 video ....
That's about what I carry (minus the weapons due to country laws). The only thing I miss, and I would also see as necessary, is PPE. More specifically at least some nitril gloves, preferably white/purple/tan so you can cleary see blood (unlike with tacticool black ones).
As always UF Pro the video productions are really good. Thank you for having the how to pack a medic bag. I work as a wilderness first responder as well so looking forward to seeing all 9 ep. of Luka's presentation. Awesome work.
Luka! You made me cough my lungs out of laughter!!! Did you say "when I go out on a date"??? My language is Spanish. So, when I saw the pistol and the rest, I thought I was getting it wrong.
If you like paracord , remember - I yard of paracord with a loop can be carried in your shirt pocket or trousers which is a tourniquet . The most important piece of gear you can carry .
Considering Uf pro is Slovenian company and his name is Slovenian, I'm guessing he's Slovenian. In case I'm wrong, just ignore reply. In Slovenia, only police force and armed forces personel can carry weapon, but only when on duty and registered hunters, when hunting. There could be some cases when you are allowed to carry, but those are extremely rare. So he is most definately not carring gun on a date. I belive he only said that becouse, I assume, the targeted audionce is murican, who wear plate carrier in shower and can't breathe without at least 1 firearm in reach distance at any given time.
Why so much emphasis on a tourniquet? Bear in mind, I'm not an operator, combat medic, "in theater," etc. I'm just a guy who works in a cube and goes home and drinks a beer. I know, I know.... Someone will answer, "because when the shooting starts, the bleeding starts." I have been in Zero shootouts to date and don't intend to be in a shoot out. And the odds of me getting struck by lightning on the way to pick up my lottery winnings are greater than being in a shoot out. Sure it could happen, but it is so unlikely, aren't there 100 other things I should be ready for as a higher priority? Or are chicks into tourniquet guys now? I've been married so long, I wouldn't know.
Greg Gallop N5MKH not only save your life but someone else’s. Not just good for being shot. Car accidents, work accidents, etc. one day you might be the first responder and could save someone’s life or even a child. Peace brother.
@@bretthuseby1372 - Good points but I would counter that I'm at about 8 to 10 counts of being the first responder at (not as a title or job, just the first guy there) at automobile accidents and probably another 5 to 6 with other accidents that required urgent medical care and not only didn't need these items, but wouldn't have been able to use them because they weren't applicable to the wounds I treated. I have found that broken bones, dislocated joints, head trauma and bleeding that required a shit ton of diapers and compression to be the most common issues I have faced. No joke - Pampers will hold a LOT of blood!
you are not a real american when you pack your “medic bag“ like this: pistolholster, glock, glock mag, knife (for when you are out of ammo) and some unimportant first aid things..
