MermaidNina, I looooooove your video! Prior to even hearing about packing cubes, I rolled everything (rolling means more room + no wrinkled clothes!) so I thought nothing could be easier or more organized than I. Until 6+ months ago and that's when I heard about packing cubes. I was pleasantly surprised when after watching your video on the 'how-to's', I found that I had much more extra space after everything was packed! I'm packing tonight for another long haul trip and just needed a little 'refresher'. Thank you so much!!! Excellent!!!

I use the packing cubes all the time for my husband and I. I just helped my daughter pack for a trip for a week to Orlando. She has 4 kids 10, 8, 6 and 3. I used the smaller cube for underwear, pj’s and socks. Then for the clothes, the oldest 2 used 1 each (6 outfits with a few extra tops). The 2 youngest girls shared one (they are smaller so clothes are smaller). Then used a big one for all the swim stuff. My daughter could not believe how much room she saved. She said this is the way to pack especially with children. Of course she said I can come over and help her every time she’s leaving for vacation. LOL

I find I can squish more in my packing cubes if I put clothes in flat. I find rolling the items makes the packing cube very hard and more difficult to force more stuff in. When I put them in flat, where there is space, near the top of t shirts I can additionally add in one or 2 rolled items. I have been able to get 20 ladies medium t shirts into a medium Eagle Creek packing cube. Love Eagle Creek, the material is very thin but also very strong, with good zippers, so when it seems full you can continue to add and compress and get a lot more into the space of the packing cube

I do like the rolling for the kids as I can roll undies, socks, shorts, tees in one roll, thus giving them a made to order outfit. I do a mix of rolling/flat for me. Guess it depends on what type of clothes you have too. Rolling or flat...either way...love me some packing cubes.

Who knows, lol. But I am thinking Kohl's or Walmart. I often get her stuff on clearance the year before so by the time she wears them, who knows where they came from, lol. Walmart is great for cheap and under dresses. Kohls is great for cute shorts that last as they are thicker. I already got a whole set for the next 2 years.

Fine. I mean I am packing for Disney, not a wedding. But FINE! For when I am doing an event, I get a different kind of packing cube, one that is meant for dressier items :)

Not sure about that one. Most gowns come with a special travel wrap...I would invest in a special gown bag or just fold in half nicely in a regular suit case.

Not that I know of, for a packing cube. But they make other garment for this.
