No more broken cookies! Let me show you a few of my tricks for shipping cookies safely anywhere. Check out this blog post for a list of my favorite packing materials: flourbox.com/blogs/tidbits/bo...
Me too! My daughter moved to Pittsburgh in July and this is the first year I won't see her for the holidays so I want to send her some yummy treats from Florida.
Oh, I’m so glad that other people are shipping cookies like I have been doing! I’ve been feeding warming centers that host our area homeless adults some in churches and some in ballet and tap studios that have opened their doors to keep people warm here in New Hampshire. Keep cooking!
Anne, I can’t tell you how much this video helped me. I have watched it several times. I had broken cookies when I shipped cookies in the past no matter how I packed until I used your method. It’s great. Even little things like folding the tissue paper, etc. It’s one of the many reasons I buy many of my supplies from you. Great : videos, cookie designs, cookie supplies, fast shipping on orders, and great customer service! You are my go to girl! Judy
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the easiest, most informative cookie shipping video I've watched! I'm sending my first test batch to my Mom who lives 2 hours away 🙂
YAY! I'm glad this is helpful. We are testing out some new tutorial ideas to provide more info about the full process of making cookies. I'm glad you like this one. :)
Thanks so much for this video, it's been SO HELPFUL!! I've successfully completed my 1st shipping & they arrived perfectly. So I really appreciate you. I'm now packaging a box for a 2nd delivery 🥰🤗👍🏾

I learned from you how to packaged to mail cookie kit boxes to my granddaughter and so far there has only been one broken cookie. Thank you for teaching this
Sending out 300 cookies to 10 recipients. This is a very timely video find for me. Thanks for posting your method. I especially like the double box for combating postal 'crush' syndrome. A fragile label isn't what it used to be.
Thank you so much! This was a great video and I love your presentation! May i ask when and if dry ice is ever needed to ship cookies? Especially if they’re stuffed with chocolate or other goodies?
Have ur cookies ever melted meaning the icing..mines have.. from the heat..customer received them and the colors bleed into one another.. any suggestions or is something wrong with the way I mix my royal icing
Hi! Love this video! I was wondering with regards to the amount of time the cookies are good for- as in, how far in advance can you make them? I understand some people freeze them, and some people just make within the week. What would you suggest?
Thank thank you!! I am starting to bake some cookies for family only:) and my aunt that leaves 8 hours away wants some and I just didn’t knew how to ship them. Thank you. Can I ask you how long do you leave the cookies drying before you put them inside the plastics bags? I did some for my sons class and it looked like they were melting inside the bags 🤦🏻♀️ total disaster
Hello and thank you so much for this. Is there any other way to see the blog post? It seems you are between websites and the blog is not accessible. Thanks! Looks for what size pouches to buy.
Great video, thank you! I went to your blog to find the right size bubble pouch and your link goes to their site but says can't be found. They must not sell them any more?
Hello hope all is well I absolutely love your cookies they are beautiful God bless your talent I wanted to know where do you purchase your sticky labels and how do you get them with the ingredients on them thank you again so much for the wonderful tutorial Stay safe God bless
Great info-thanks. I'm wondering if you or anyone has any suggestions or how you "store your cookies" from flooding to decorating. I'm looking for some type of storage container (currently using a multi level cooling rack) so that they can dry after flooding but not be left in the open for kids to maybe knock the table and they break, etc. I hope I'm making myself clear. Any suggestions would be well received! Thanks in advance
This is really helpful , thank you! How long can a sugar cookie with icing /fondant be consumed? (in case it gets stuck in post. as it so slow now with covid :( )
Sugar cookies with royal icing last a long time I kept one in a plastic container up in my cupboard because I liked the design I had created on it and a year later it looks the same of course I’m not going to eat it
I would like to know more about the labels on each cookie, are these FDA labels? Where should we start if we need these for each one of our cookies we are sending out.
Also I have had problems with black royal icing bleeding on the cookie after packaging how do you store your cookies before shipping after you package them are they able to go in the refrigerator I think my cookies bled because I didn’t give them at least 24 hrs to dry before I package them 😣that might have been the problem thank you again
@@pennydaytreasures8173 @Denny Henrickson-Dear hii please reply..its very urgent..i am making the royal icing cookies for my friend and sending him to another state..so do i have to freeze that icing cookies? Because it takes 2-3 days .will the taste change?? Its my first time that i am making royal icing cookies and shipping them ..so plz help me ..i am sending it after 3 days
@@pennydaytreasures8173 i don't have meringue powder..and is perishable items can be delivered?because the company from where i am sending this parcel to my friend..in their list its been written that perishable items are not allowed..do cookies melt??
Hello! I clicked on the link you provided for your shipping supplies but your website is under construction. Are you able to provide that list for me? I went to staples but couldn’t find the small bubble bags. Thank you!
This is great, but my question is how do I ship meringue cookies/pops and keep the moisture out so the don't get sticky and how to keep ants/bugs out of any boxes. Thanks 👍😊
Do u guys have an alternative way to do it without using lots of plastics? I appreciate how bubble wrap works wonders of securing the cookies but are there any alternative/sustainable way of packing it?
I only ship cookies for donations (this set went to the Go Bo bake sale) and to friends. But I used to ship orders. At that time, I charged $10/dozen, but postage has increased several times since then. I suggest pricing things out and charging a fair price for time, materials, and postage.
How can the homebaked cookies can last in that kind of packaging? Because normally here in my place it will take at least 2-3 days of delivery before the package will reach the receiver.
Where do you get your crinkle paper? I’m trying to find a machine that I can make my own. Is there such thing as a machine that makes crinkle paper that isn’t a shredder that shreds regular with no crinkle?
For the most part, the materials would be reusable...except the actual cookie packaging. But the boxes, peanuts, bubble pouches, tissue and ribbon could be used in a new way. Plus the peanuts are biodegradable (melt/dissolve when wet).
I was wondering if I can ship cookies with butter cream, I know there is company here in usa that does it but how can I keep the frosting from NOT MELTING, please help, thanks in advance
Check out this blog post for links to my 2 favorite bag sizes (6 x 4 x 2 and 8 x 4 x 2 - a good size for larger cookies or projects with ribbons) www.flourboxbakery.com/blogs/tidbits/boxing-your-cookies
