A helpful but weird thing: sew pockets on the side of your boxers/underwear for your phone and important information. Its hard to get to if someone wants to rob you, and its helpful when you don't have any other pockets. I do this at every convention and I have yet to loose anything.
Ahh the little hair clips. I don't know how many you guys bring to con, but I've since moved from the cardboard piece and have recycled tic tac containers to sort through mine via color! :) it's helpful keeping them off the floor, but this is a very informative video! Loved it! xoxo
This video is actually really helpful my friend are going to a con for the entire weekend the first time and staying in the hotel room and I wasn't sure of things that would be helpful to bring so I was a little nervous and watching this video helped my nerves, I love you guys so much you are really sweet and awesome you have helped me through my depression and I just really love you guys, I must say if it wasn't for you guys suggesting a list I would have probably forgotten a few things I needed I usually like to go to con prepared thank you so much again!
This is actually really helpful to me because this weekend (June 5th and June 6th) I will going to my very first Comic Con and I will also be cosplaying during both days that I'll be there. Even though I'm not staying the night at a hotel and have to do a 2 hour drive there and back so thanks for helping out other Cosplayers whether they are new or not. I love all the videos you guys make and I can't wait to see more of them!
+Dark Flame Cosplay I had a blast. Saw a bunch of awesome artists, got their cards even, I saw a ton of great cosplays, met my very own Dave for my Karkat cosplay (even though I cosplayed as Yukio from Blue Exorcist and America from Hetalia) and a lot of people loved taking pictures of my cosplay (the America one) and my friend Jordan who was wearing a maid cosplay (Jordan is a guy btw). I even got a wall scroll for my bedroom and I can't wait for the next one near me in November. Gonna up my cosplay skills!
If you are worried about losing your charger/not finding a plugin, you can always get a portable charger with a spare cable. That way you can carry it so you always have a way to charge your phone, and it won't be stolen/lost because you can leave it in your bag while charging. You can also stay mobile the entire time. They're around $20 at my local gas station, so I'm assuming they can be bought elsewhere cheaper.

I will definitely make a list the next time I go to a con. Last con I kept forgetting to bring the cigarette for my bestfriend that was cosplaying Cronus. Luckily he didn't mind.
OMG its funny because that video you guys did with that small demonstration that KE did with the dollar store haul .i was literately thinking and hoping that you guys would do an entire separate video on how toos and pro-tips for cosplayers video!the help is so going to help me out a lot next month july when i go out to this small con right around the time SDCC aka San Diego Comicon ouy in califormnia starts up but its in palmdale lol its a smaller gaming convention starting up next month So now i can be prepared!=Dyou guys should do this more oftehn but its cool if you do other sorts of content too lolz
this is really good advice! my friend and I were heading to a HS photoshoot and I was drinking faygo as Gamzee and they just pull a straw outta nowhere and let me use it to drink the faygo.
I'll keep a few of these ideas in my head for when my friend and I go to Sausomecon on the 11th, whatever other cons that we go to in the future. I've actually done a few of the things you've talked about in the past. Although the normal clothes thing, I usually wear my normal clothes to the con and change once i'm in the room.

I'm actually going to Tatsu-Con in about 13 days (July 29-31), so this helps. I'm going to be staying at my grandma's place, so I don't NEED to bring all the stuff you guys do for cleaning up after yourself so the hotel maids don't have to, but I will anyway. Gotta be nice for the lady who's paying for me. :3

Pro tip: If you bring a bag with you, it's not shameful to keep touch-up makeup with you and reapply it regularly! Whether it's lipstick, facepaint, eyeliner, or whatever! People are usually very open-minded if you slip out to fix yourself up.
all these videos are doing is reminding me i have a con..../good grief its next week already holy shrimp/ OxO sO yea it's next week and i'm not ready! and it's at a new venue and i'm kinda nervous abt that. but this is very helpful since as a group we are starting to pack and wrap up. I'm a paranoid person so I always have a plethora of things to fix any cosplay problem. There's been a couple of times where I've helped people I don't even know fix their cosplay.
1 thing am I the only one that thought KE looking hotter then normal and KW super cute , that hairstyle working, also very helpful, I honestly never thought of packing food but that would be so much better especially with picky eaters, also I love that you take into keeping the hotel clean, I can't stand leaving the room a mess just because I have worked in cleaning before
showering once a day is very important, I went to KawaKon this year and the Friday night we went swimming, but I had to get out to go to dinner with a few friends and I needed to get into cosplay quick, so I didn't get a shower. my hair got very yuck in the time being and all curly and bad looking. it was also a pain to brush out once I did.

i have a question, do youbhave any makeup tricks so makeuo stays on for someone who licks their lips alot? i tend to and the makeup tends to come off quicker and i was wondering if you had a trick to make it stay on?
Hmm. you could try hairspray if it was any area except your lips. You could always apply clear capstick to your lips to add another layer and help keep it on.

I might be a bit off, as I have never been to one but, it's a pumped up dance party with strobe lights and glow sticks with what I would imagine more pumped dance music like techno maybe?? That's my take of it at least. Sorry if this is off! Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Try googling a rave, more importantly, some fandom meetups have races for that certain fandom. Just look up a fandom you're in rave, so I would type in; Homestuck Cosplay Rave. Hope this was helpful.
A rave is a dimly lit room with flashing lights, and either techno or dubstep blasting full volume through giant speakers. Most of the time, they purposely increase the bass to give it more of a 'heart thumping effect.'. Glowsticks are common, but they are mostly used for decoration. Think of a rave as a loud dance off with glowsticks and sweaty people everywhere.
