Hi, nice Video. I still use the old technique which was showen once from Stephan at the beginning. Works great for me for small gliders like my SUSI. But for the Soar I will try one of the others techniques. Looks more suitable.
Are these methods compatible with the Hero2? I just bought mine, and it is an awesome glider. I have been packing into an old concertina bag and then folding around my pod. The 50/50 bag is a nice clean pack size and I wouldn’t mind using it as long as there is no chance of damage to the rods.
Hello, I am not really convinced by your method. Putting the glider flat before packing damages the extrados (if the surface is abrasive), and it's a waste of time. Personally, I gather everything together by the lines, then bring the leading edge more or less together, fold everything in half, and place it in the 50/50 bag. Packing this way takes less than 1 minute.
@@KarolScibor agreed but Ariel well specified that he was on the grass when he had the glider wide open and then, as mentioned by Sinking_Man, you can start from a rosette, as I personally do, and I don't spread the glider, same as your technique. Again, the important is to have yours! Happy landings!
