Hi Paul, I have been following your tutorials for sometime now. I love your work, sense of humour and generosity in sharing your talent. I am retired and have spent many enjoyable hours in my studio painting. Sharon, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Loved the lesson, I have just picked up a brush for the first time I am 67 yrs old. I just never thought I could do it. I could never even paint a wall but I am inspired by your tutorial to give it a go. I have always been a little bit crafty but only textiles, wool, fabrics etc. Due to my arthritis I need to stop needle craft so I have turned my attention to painting, well, trying anyway. Thank you Coral,....Australia
Thanks for this one. I’ve just finished it. Added a few birds in the background and didn’t get the sea quite right but gave it a good crack. If it sells for millions I’ll cut you in😊
Hello from San Diego! I am a beginner and thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial. Your calming voice and step by step instructions really helped. I have only done watercolor flowers but you gave me a little confidence that I lacked. Thank you again for your time and talent that you shared.
Just finished this and it was so much fun. The third painting I’ve done of yours. Seriously, I’m not stopping. I’m going through all your tutorials. Big huge fan
I love the way you explain the painting, it makes me think I can paint it, the ingenious techniques you apply and the simplicity of the process for such a beautiful result, your soft and friendly voice makes the explanation very pleasant. I learn a lot from you! thank you!
I've just revived a long-forgotten love of painting, but I'm going to take on watercolour for the first time with my new paint kit I got for Christmas. So excited to have found your lessons! Thank you!
I am grateful to you Sir for making such wonderful tutorials and sharing your knowledge with us amateurs.. absolutely addicted to learn more from your channel.
I love your work & technique. It’s how I want to work. I’m trying to loosen up. I’ve watched a lot of artists but your style matches me best. Ikm learning a lot from you.
I can imagine this painting hanging on a wall.. Thanks for sharing this Paul.. it is so very beautiful..and you make it look so simple. Hope for a beginner like me it would be possible to achieve such an amazing and pretty much realistic result. Once again thank you 🙏..
You are really a good artist. You explain the things very clearly. N the most important thing is that you tell the ratio of colour n techniques in video. Mostly artist didn't show that. That's why I love your video.
Paul, thank you so much for this video. I was able to paint my own version of this last night and watching this gave me the confidence to try something new. Before this, I did a few landscapes, and never drew a boat before in my life. Thank you!!
Wow, this boat watercolor is everything! I truly appreciate your painting tutorials using a large size of watercolor paper, whether it be 9 x 12" or 11 x 14". Too often these demonstrations here on YT are done using 5 x 7" (or even 4x6"), where it's nearly impossible to utilize the splattering technique, adding masking fluid, etc. Thank you for these tutorials!
Thank you so much I followed your step by step tutorial of this boat painting When I posted in a group I got around 350 likes and many comments and I shared your channel It was realy helpful an I'm still following your channel regularly Thanks once again Paul clark The best part is I can follow your language accent is very clear
I have been with watercolors since 2009 and before that I was in to Acrylics and before Oils when I was studying back in Puerto Rico in the 1970's.... and still today I am just a student and I have enjoy very much your demo today... Thanks.
I did it!!!! I...DID....IT!!!! I’m a very nervous beginner, and while I admit mines not quite as good as teachers, (!!!) it’s certainly passable! Thank you for giving me more confidence, Paul- I’m as proud as punch! Such a great teacher.
Hi Paul. Love your work. But a little feedback: as a beginner, i find the tutorials really fast. I cant keep up and i just keep making a mess. It would be helpful if you could also show the actual mixing of the paint, not just the painting. Thanks
I find it easier to watch the videos on my iPhone, and take screenshots throughout the video. Then I go to my local library and print them all out that way I have something to keep I can redo over and over again.
I've always had a love of boats and water but never got around to painting these. Thank you for making it look so easy, so I've got no excuse now. Greetings from Australia.
It's amazing, priceless. How lucky we are ! Tomorrow I will start watercolor with this video. I can't wait !!! Thanks for sharing.. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZİNG!!!!!
@@ArtbyPaulClark I tried a boat using your technique. I’m not sure how to share it with you here. My Instagram page is: art_by_ruma. I’ve posted it there.
Fantastic picture.....the light effects are great. I like the picture of the canoe type boat pulled up on the bank, too...really brilliant work. How can anyone give a thumbs down to your work?????
My dear Paul, so glad I found you out here in cyber world. Stopped painting over 20 years ago and life situations brought me back exploring. 80 years old and thanks for your casual and enthusiastic approach. I am once again enthused about painting. Keep on.
So well presented and demonstrated. The real plus for these videos is the ability to pause and replay, so no need to rush though. Really like this subject piece.
I have been watching watercolor tutorials for a while, and just stumbled on your youtube. I found your suggestions, teachings, techniques, and tips are extremely helpful. I do appreciate your relaxing demeanor and attitude too... THANK YOU...
Paul,I really really appreciate your comprehensive explanations of what you're doing along with the demonstration and I am awed by your incredible talent Just keep your videos on I'm watching them religiously thank you have a nice day, bye-bye!! - Your pal and comrade in Florida
I just found you on YT yesterday and so happy I did. I painted this along with you today. I really enjoyed it and am happy with my rendition. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for all your content. I have only been painting for two months and find your tutorials really helpful. By the way I'm 75 and haven't painted since I did A level art in 1966! Please keep up the brilliant work, you are very talented indeed.
Blue tone is usually sad but in your picture it is beautiful and shimmering. I would love to see the waters of the lake you describe, but they are moving and sparkling. Thank you.
I'm really loving your channel. I'm a beginner and was just about to give up. You've given me inspiration and hope. I'll plough on for another while. Thank you
Paul, I couldn't help clapping all through your demonstration - it was so wonderful! This was the first time I happened upon your site and I am delighted that I did. You have a wonderful teaching voice and your uncomplicated method is so helpful. Thank you!!
I am doing the tutorials too, they are not easy for me so I do them multiple times and I notice I make a little progress each time. these videos are truly inspirational. I am really grateful.
I've just find your tutorials in RU-vid and the explanations are really clear. I am an spanish illustrator who wants to improve watercolour technique. Thank you so much.
