This was sooo helpful, thanks! I didn't want to spray paint it, like some of the other videos show. That thick roller is the key! I think I'll make a video about my fireplace painting adventure. Thanks for this video. I'm subscribed and liking!

I just used a semi gloss in antique white . Applied with a roller and brush to get it into the grout well. And it turned out awesome!

Do you have a wood burning fireplace? My fiance wants to paint it white but I would think it would look bad very quickly from the soot.

Thank you so much for this video. We wanted to tile our fireplace but it was going to be very expensive and, so, I was wondering about painting our fireplace but was concerned about heat/fire from the fireplace and what type of paint and primer would be safe. Now, I will be painting and using the specified primer. 👍🙏🤗❤️

Disregard my type of paint comment as I found my response amongst other comments. Can I paint the bottom inside of the fireplace or does that make it flammable? Thank you
