That came out really nice. And why not experiment anyway? You were going to have to redo a lot of the sanding and painting again I think. A matching headstock would have been really cool. And great playing at the end!

I've done crackle 4 or 5 times. I was successful twice though lol. I've also heard that it does well with gloss, but no so much with matte under it
