I love, love, love all the colors. Enjoyed thinking about what the rock thinks. But then I’m another “crazy” lady. I have been picking up rocks from my earliest years. I’m 77 and still almost always have one or two in my pockets. 😁
I love to listen to your instructions. Pleasant voice, easy to follow, and you dont say "um" when you are in between your thoughts or sentences. I appreciate that! Beautiful work too
Really helps to see how you use the stencils. Would love to see more tutorials. Keeps the creative juices flowing. Thank you for sharing your many talents in this unsettling time. Be safe!
Loved the way you described the background gradient conundrum. I made a custom blended sunset colored background and put a ton of black dots all over it, what a nail biter that was! Worth the risk though, it turned out awesome! And the rock's point of view monologue was hilarious! ❤ love you tons and Thankyou for sharing your time and talent!!!👍✌
That background gradient thing is quite a conundrum, sometimes it’s worth the risk. Somebody has to speak for the rocks, it might as well be this crazy lady 🙋♀️😂 Thanks for backing me up on that one. Thanks again for watching 😘❤️
Wow, I often wondered why my paint sometimes ‘cracks’. It’s odd how it’s usually the same colours. I shall mix the paint for a longer time in future. Really appreciate you not editing out the error. I use the silicone tools for blending pastels, never thought to use them for dotting. You really are a mine of information.
Cracking paint can happen with cheaper paint and "settled" paint that isn't stirred. I'm always happy to highlight a mistake cause that's where the good stuff happens. I'll make the mistakes so you all don't have too 😂❤️ Silicone tools are AMAZING for dotting.
I looked forward to this one all week, and it did not disappoint! Your videos are always such a treat. This rock is gorgioso and I can’t wait to try my hand at it. SO glad I treated myself to your stencil set! Thanks for sharing your gifts with us Rachel😍😍😍
Awesome video Rachel! You always make me smile. I will have to get my paints and stencils out it has been too long. Caring for hubby and grands during this stay in place has left no time for me. Painting centers me.
Hi there the Dotting center I have thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial. Have been dying to try out dot painting ,but for some reason I am very nervous!! I just needed a push in the right direction (or a kick in the butt) and I think you have done it!!!!! Well done! and God bless.
I have never liked and subscribed the first time I've watched someone's video but this was so awesome I'm hooked so I want more of what you are showing and I love the stencils, very smart idea! You have a new subscriber in me so keep up the fantastic work you are so good at doing x x

@@TheDottingCenter boo Rachel I must be looking in the wrong place for the tutorials and seem to get the same ones over and over. I thought maybe you hadn't posted for awhile. Would love to see more and these few are gorgeous
Have to add that I live in South Africa and it is useless posting any to us we just don't receive the stuff....in other words our postal system is up the creek like everything else in this country except the beauty which God created. We do have a very beautiful country. See other comment below.Love
