This is a time lapse video: Painting trees and leaves with watercolor.
My latest watercolor on paper, I painted this one section by section from left to right, mixing colors wet in wet and adding a lot of splattering towards the end. Wet in wet in watercolor is a technique where the colors are mixing on your paper.

the scale of the composition is very impressive, not commonly seen with WC

AMAZING!! I learn visually, I love that you teach by doing it. I have learned more from this video, than watching others who talk thru their techniques. I love how you layer your paint and how you do a step thru the entire painting and then move on. I like it all and now subscribe. Thank you, Sandrine, for being a great teacher for visual learners and being an amazing painter of forest!!

I have enjoyed everything you have posted, while I journey toward learning how to be a better painter. It's been something I have wanted to do all my life (and I'm now in my 60's)! I have bought one of your videos (Imagination flowers) and practice a lot! I'm so excited doing this, it's now transcended into painting on tiles! and other objects. I'm running out of wall space... ha ha ha

I love your painting but I do not like time lapse videos or music.I prefer the artist to explain as the work progresses

I agree... a little explanation would go far. I've actually had to slow down the video to get a better view of what Sandrine is doing. And I've ordered her DVD's in the past from Northlight. I helps because I've had to refer back to watching many times before I get it right. lol Juliana

💖Your work is truly inspiring!!! I love your process and the detail you are able to render is incredible! The music is brilliant too, who is the artist? I would love to hear more by them.

Thanks Terri-Lynn :) I found the music on Jewelbeat.com, The track is called "Singing Sitar", they don't specify who the artist is.
