I’m about to do this in purple and add chunky gold glitter to the wall. This was a perfect tutorial. Buying the wall paper that looks similar was 500 for an entire wall and I hate wall paper! Thank you!!
Lovely techniques and a beautiful result - well done! And thank you for being the first American I've _ever_ heard pronounce the word _niche_ correctly - for everyone else: it's *neesh!* Merci beaucoup, Mademoiselle! 🇫🇷 In case you didn't know, you can split mica horizontally into many layers if anyone reading this needs their mica to go farther to save a bit of money. You just need the tip of a very sharp blade, and it will kind of flake-pop off as you wiggle it gently - a bit like trying to separate out the layers of a paper napkin. 😄
@@BridalSewing oh fiddlesticks! To be fair to you, *_agg_* -uht! is one of those words we're all likely to first learn from reading it, with no template for how to actually _say_ it. Like me with misled. For years in my head it was myzzled! What is this _myzzled_ everyone keeps writing about, I wondered? 🙄 'Nitch' is just one of those that makes me... itch, and it's everywhere - newsreaders, politicians, allegedly clever people... so I did a double-take when you pronounced it correctly. Seriously, a first! Anyhoo, linguistics aside, key thing is your wall is effing *gorgeous,* Milady! Well done. 😘
Ummmm...this tutorial is PHENOMENAL!!! I've been searching for a tutorial on how to do this for a very long time!!! I live on Lake Superior. Our favorite thing to do is to go Agate "hunting". Seriously it sounds boring or ridiculous but once you start, its addicting! We have found raw Citrine, Amethyst, Jasper. Some people take it quite seriously, lol! Anyways, I want to bring those natural elements in my home! I AM SO EXCITED!!!! Thank you a MILLION times over! I know you are a Bridal sewing channel but if you wanted to teach some more art, I wouldn't say no! You're a great teacher! I can't sew to save my life but I'm subscribing! Thank you!!!!!
Oh my God what a truly wonderful tutorial! I can't wait to do this and I wanted to tell you that the way that you speak to your audience/students during the tutorial was excellent you spoke clearly and made sure that all the directions were easily understood and the only reason that I'm even saying anything that could be remotely considered negative is because you are pronouncing the word agate wrong...and I'm a bit of an asshole LOL. The word is spelled like a gate that you might have in your yard but it's pronounced like a gat... like "cat" with a G. Just a friendly public service announcement from another one of the asshole grammar Nazis thank you though for your wonderful tutorial I cannot wait to try it best regards
This is beautiful....... Thanks for sharing....... Tip: don't cover thermostat with anything or it won't work properly, it needs to read the air temperature around it
Oh hello :) What based paint would I need ? Can we do it on plastered walls ? I am from the UK in case if you need details of that. I would like to use gold , rose gold pink, purples maybe--- It won't let me on the link for the paints ... :( I typed in chalk paints on Google and it shows normal paint ? Can you use as water colour paint like yours ? -- similar to the one you've done heheh I wanna do my livingroom and bed room one wall for one wall as a feature which I thought be nice and rest as white ---- Unsure what colours to use for my kitchen and bathroom and what sofa colour would match the watercolours I'd use ... any suggestions ? 🤔- this is my first flat on my own 🙃 I'm all new to this stuff. And I've recently been learning about watercolors as I've done an illustration course which taught me alottt heheheheheh man we are unique humans -- not the usual boring wallpaper like stick it on job is done type of thing 😏 I wanna get excited when decorating and self trust myself I can think outside the box and make my flat af my own hahahha ❤ Thank youuu
Do we have to use chalk paint? Could we use regular wall paint? Trying to use what I have and I have regular satin finish paint and metallic paint. Would it still work? If it has to be chalk paint could we add regular wall paint for the veins?
Just keep the finishes in mind. You could technically do all your work in satins that you have & then do one clear matte finish to seal it. Then vein it in your glossies.
