I'm so sorry people told you you weren't good at drawing. You are GREAT at drawing. If you have the time and inclination, please keep doing it. Based on this, I'd consider you a talented illustrator.
Wow the talent! 🤩 please never stop painting and making music! You are super authentic ✨ As an artist myself (I draw and illustrate) I think it is super difficult to connect with something at first sight and feel amazed all at the same time but it happens with you! I'm not used to comment on videos but I'm working on it, I think we should share good thoughts because perhaps reading something like this can help in difficult times. Keep up with everything that makes you happy and share it with the world! I hope to hear the unreleased songs from this video soon🤩✨ Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
It's so cool to have my own custom guitar after watching this video. I've also customized it on my guitar. I left a video. Can I post it on RU-vid? I'll leave you a link to your RU-vid channel
I'm not really sure cuz I dont think Ive ever seen gloss polyurethane but I think if you sand the polish enough or use clear gesso on it you can paint it. The thing I'll be concerned about would be how thick and strong the polyurethane is
Thank you!! From what I remember, I didnt sand the pickguard but I think I sprayed a clear primer before I put clear gesso on it. Should have put in the video but totally forgot I did that until now. Hope all goes well!
What kind of pencil did you sketch with? I want to do something similar but worried the acrylic market over the top of the lead pencil might get screwed up by it?
I think I just used a regular HB pencil but I used a lot of ink on my marker to cover and hide the pencil draft! I recommend using a thick marker/ink that can overwrite stuff underneath.
The neck was pretty jacked up and maybe its worth decent money in the States? I see a bunch of old fernandez lying around in Japan for cheap all the time
hmmm not sure because ive never seen or touched that guitar but i feel like the sharpie will fade away if the matte is too smooth. It might work after you put clear gesso on it but i cant assure you. i would probably just draw a small dot on the side or the back to test out if the ink works first lol. keep in mind these projects always comes with a great risk!
