DISCLAIMER: I am not an artist of hyperrealism, I enjoy my own style so if you came here to get down to the pores and vessels, this video is not for you 😅 this is for those who just want the basics. Thank you!
You inspire me so much sis. Im Sanelisiwe Mthembu from South Africa. You actually inspired me to create my own youtube channel and pursue my journey in art. I am a speech therapist by profession but since i was young. I always knew I was meant to be artist. I hope this journey will be worth it😅. Thank you for the work you put it to create such inspirational videos ❤
You are a gift to this world! I am so grateful for RU-vid, without it I would have never discovered your teaching. Thank you. I have wanted to paint a portrait for a very long time. This video is giving me confidence to try!
I loved the tutorial and your painting! I hope you share more tutorials. I primarily use acrylic paints, but I started off using oils (following Bob Ross). I will start using both now. Thank you! ❤
@@patriciadaboh5932 thank you for tuning in! I’ll be sure to make them more thorough when I have more patience and time 😅 and Bob Ross is a great legend to follow after🙏🏾
Yes!!! More videos like this I'm a self taught painter and I'm still finding it had to paint portraits. This video help me a lot one or two more videos like this I might feel comfortable enough to try !!!
This definitely showed me how to slow down and take it section by section. For some reason I am fine with acrylics but oils make me think I have to create all the details at once. So glad to see you on RU-vid!
❤thank you, thank you... and did i say? .... thank you so very much. I did a portrait freehand as I've always done & still do. I totally tore into the ppr trying to sketch the face. The ppr didn't tear but one more erasure & a hole would've appeared. I hadn't touched it since. That was in the 1980's. I've seen other projector methods I've just not implemented. I'm currently working on a freehand piece & the details are a bit much but i chose to do so. Your very encouraging & thank you for sharing your smarter methods🎉
Another great and highly informative video! ❤Thank you so much for sharing your process and incredible artistry! This is a beautiful portrait of your adorable son. I learned so much and feel inspired to pick up my paint brushes and paint again! Thank you for being so generous in your wisdom and inspiration about art!❤
Omgeee I know that hard lines make the image pop, but it's so intimidating while I'm painting . I'll blend so much cause while painting it it looks wrong , but when I step back it makes sense lol. I go through this loop in every painting .
