Tried it and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be :) I don't have any professional "Art stuff", I used my old watercolors from school and normal paper. It was a bit hard because the paper was almost soaked in water, but it dried pretty quick, so it wasn't that of a big problem.. and considering that I'm not a person of outstanding talent for something like this, I'm a bit proud of myself :) For people who want so see it: de.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=jzbq1k&s=8#.VKBi6ADCM Thanks for this tutorial :)♥

Each time you pick a darker red, I am like 'Noooo you are gonna ruin it, it was perfect, don't touch it anymore'. Haha but somehow it just always gets better and better when you pick darker colors, I just love it, you are so talented. I really enjoy watching this piece of paper come to life.

Thanks Evelyn! There are a few artists, yes. I have several cousins who are photographers and/or graphic designers. My brother designs pens, Emily does her thing. My mom has a flair for baking/decorating cookies and was a cosmetologist. Most older family members probably had some kind of artistic inclination but never explored it. I think the main thing that makes our family tick is that we tend to get obsessed with things and work hard to master them. That is particularly true of my dad.

a tip for y'all who don't have paint concealer, because... I don't you can use white acrylic paint once the picture is dry, it worked perfect for me, and you can make it as glossy as you want because I was going for a bright red lipstick rather that a rosy pink. BECAUSE EXPENSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE

Again great work! and rhank you for the voice over it was alot more helpful than the subtitles! But please can you slow it down? Its really too fast. Even as a sped up video its just too much sped up. Even 1x speed would be effective but I think for a tutorial video that normal speed would be most helpful for those you are aiming to teach and those eager to learn! If you want to display your artwork as a time-lapse video you should put it in a seperate video:) that way you can put your fave music over it and those just wishing to view your art being made could view those videos seperately without having to listen to the tutorial! Just put them on two different playlists on your channel. Thanks anyways wonderful art.

Beautiful tutorial on painting lips. When you paint the lines on the lips is the paper dry or still damp? I can see I need to put my colors down and leave them alone. I always think the colors are too strong when I first put them down and then I blend them out too much. Watercolors are much lighter once they dry.

Talented :) Im from emily's channel, but i have a question 4 you. My husbands dad passed away the August 20th very expected since he was just at our house the 19th seemed great but he has this picture of him the last one he let us take of him cause he wasnt very picture friendly lol but do you paint other pics an if so what would you charge?
@michel.b5752
@michel.b5752 10 лет назад
realistic ? Yes, you are skillfull. A watercolour painter (not a beginner though) could learn things from your demonstration. Sadly I would not call the final result "art". (when the final paint would draw attention over and over). Have you some example of taking distance from the pure skill and go to an artwork ?
