Two things I always love and learn about your tutorials… First, making watercolor painting look easy giving us confidence to paint and create something beautiful. Second, the sense of humor to remind us that painting is fun. It’s funny when you put the tape on the left side though it’s already painted and hiding it at the end with a piece of paper 😂

Thanks Paul. I've just started painting along with you. You are right! They don't turn out like yours, but loved the exercise and each time I learn a lot. Such a pleasure to paint quickly and not worry about the outcome. I've been using acrylics and this is so much nicer and freer for me, at least. You are so appreciated, a great teacher.

Thanks Paul. I do feel this video really addressed some of my confusion about how water colour paints work and the different consistencies of the paints. And also the reminder not to worry about it being perfect but just seeing what happens is useful for me being a bit of a perfectionist. And also, the painting is beautiful.

Brilliant. It's great to see a master at work. I had just finished a watercolour of a engine house near Porthtowan, Cornwall. Near where I used to live. And realised that my painting needed a bit more work so out came the salt, water spay and ink. Now that's better. Thanks Paul.

Spot on Paul every thing I take from Water colour painting. If I hadn't seen the finished painting first I would have thought you'd lost this painting, brought back brilliantly. As you got into the painting I was saying to myself 'use the ink' and you did you used every trick. Nice work.

If a picture paints a thousand words then one of Mr. Clark's paintings can bring a thousand memories in someone. If the face of Helen can launch a thousand ships, then one of Mr. Clark's paintings can launch ten thousand ships. This gorgeous painting brings backs thoughts and memories of friends and family and the dreams we had back then. Some of them have left this world and have passed on but their memories still live on. Loved this one! I am always trying to play with spontaneous watercolor paintings as I try to develop my skills with this medium. Your approach and explanations are so helpful. I really like how you started with a basic sketch or idea and then let the watercolor just do its thing. I picked up watercolor to help me loosen up, in my acrylic painting and I am truly falling in love with this medium! Thanks for sharing this one, I hope you will do more like this in the future.
