YOUR BOOK AND BRUSHES ARRIVED TODAY !!! 🥰💕I just spent the day admiring and petting them. So thank you, thank you, thank you so much for them. The snail (mail) finally came through. He said it took longer than usual because while he did make fantastic time flying over the ‘pond’ (at a snail’s pace of course), it really slowed him down when he hit the flypaper at the mail distribution center in Winnipeg. You should see the skid marks on his belly! 🤣😂 Seriously though, Paul, I’ve had a quick glance through the book (love it), and will start going through the lessons tomorrow. I’ve been practicing different things every day, and now will enjoy having the structure of going through your book and trying to master the techniques. And your spring painting today is so nice. We certainly don’t have spring here in western Canada yet, but when I went to get more Winsor and Newton paints today, the Rocky Mountains looked so gorgeous in the sun with a fresh fall of white snow. Wish you could have seen them. So thanks again for making the beautiful tools for us to enjoy, the wonderful book, and the great videos. Every Wednesday is a treat and gives us something to work on until the next week. I’m off now to see what’s going on in the Facebook group! Thanks to your videos, I've started adding pastels into my mix... they definitely can add a bit of sparkle to areas needing a bit of lift. Watercolour pencils can help in some situations, but I'm finding the pastels truly shine. Thanks for the tips!

This is beautiful! The scene looks a lot like one you'll find here in rural Virginia where our daffodils are just starting to pop, as well. I've made this my weekend painting project, I can't wait! I've been adding pastel touches to my watercolor paintings more and more lately, and love it. I did a lot of pastel drawing in my younger days, but am fairly new to watercolor. Thank you for all of your inspirational tutorials (and sense of humor)!!

I love this, such idyllic spring time imagery. Just beautiful. For those who like me are not as quick as Paul, something I had to do several times was to let everything dry and rewet with a hake so I could continue with the wet in wet effect just be careful not to over work. Easier said, I know..
