I have watched many utube videos and most brush mod podge all over stencils, I like the way you do it, definitely going to try. I feel the mod podge can definitely leave a sticky finish if you use too much. Thank u

This method worked! I knew I'd find this video again to thank you for this helpful DIY! I bought one of those chalk painted ready made wooden plaque from Walmart. It had a very rough textured like it came from an old pallet. The mod podge sealing towards the vinyl was effective. Thank you once again! I have subscribe and enjoying your other videos!

Thank you! Do you have better luck using a stencil sealer of paint or mod podge? Also do you find that the mod podge leaves any kind of sheen around the stencil?

This is a great tip with scrapping. Do you have any problems with the paint lifting up when you pull up the stencil? I’ve been having issues and it’s so frustrating. I use chalk paint to base coat my board.

Yes, definitely, just use a very thin coat!

Do you have tips on peeling, when not using mod podge? I’ve tried it both with and without, and I’ve had issues with my paint peeling.

Me too 🙄 and sometimes it'll be fine and sometimes it won't i find it so frustrating because i can do 2 projects the same one will peel fine no issues the other brings the whole paint up with it 😩
