The lost and found edges along with the emphasizing then blurring the edges are definitely skills I need to practice. The last few lines you put in then gently blurred is also a technique I need to master. The really make the slice look more natural. I can see me using those in many sorts of nature images.Thank you!
I can't wait to see more of your daily paintings and sketch drawouts. I imagine a wall full of your beautiful collection of art. Just watching your videos over Christmas and each day is helping me to be a better sketch artist too. Thank you!❤
My 202th. Watching this just before bedtime I had the 😂 strangest experience ever on your channel. The etheric music brought me into a kind of paddo's experience. Although I could here your human voice I thought I was a flying animal flying over an Mooney or Venus like landscape with the most beautiful mountains ever😂😂. Thanks for this flight into another demention. Addicted Wim😊
Yes, that's what I thought too. I can see it as a painting hanging in a home office too, so could be a proper gift for a man. Always so hard to buy for!
@@DianeAntoneStudio Regarding your comments on watching tv. Back in the day, I was glued to American programs. Starkey and Hutch, Hill Street Blues Dallas, Dynasty. Not anymore. Now I am glued to British programs. I hope to make a start on painting again.
i just love ur channel i painting the cow with the rose headband i just finished and i have no printer currently so had to free hand the sketch pretty impressed with myself thank u Diane !!!
Wonderful! That's so good to here Darlene. This is such a great design idea - you could have three or four in different colours and sizes, really a nice painting as a gift for a man's office for example!
This video will give you an opportunity to practice many of the techniques we watercolourists use every day! Wet and wet, wet on dry, please, back runs, salt, graduated washes and embellishments with gold paint - there’s a bit of everything in this geode. Why not follow along and practice your skills??
Wow, Diane! Watching your process through this project was fascinating and so instructive with lots of tips on techniques. I finally got a water brush and need practice. What brand is the red handle brush you used? I was surprised by how much paint it held.
Hi Yvonne, The website for the Japanese manufacturer I buy my brushes from is: www.drawell.co.jp And if you send them an email and request the pricelist you will be able to order direct from them. Several people in America have received them from them already and have been pleased. They aren’t very expensive and the shipping although they’re coming along way is quite reasonable. I believe they take PayPal and somebody said they had paid COD. I don’t make any money on this recommendation as I haven’t yet got round to talking to drawell about it! So glad you’re enjoying the videos!
Wow! This is soooo cool! I used to do something similar on silk in the late 80ies/early 90ies. Never realized this was technique was applyable on paper. Thank you very much and greetings from Germany 💜♥️💜
Wow! How fun was that! I love your relaxed painting methods and appreciated the opportunity to try different techniques in one painting. With each video I watch and painting I make I appreciate your more.
Thank you for this great video and inspiration! (Loved the kitty and dogs barking too!) I watched entire video last night, went to store today to get chunky salt and was so thrilled to play with colors, brush, salt and gold acrylic paint!!! Love geodes, have many here!
