Amazing job Paul. I want to do this with my K8S, but in a winter camo theme. I had to watch this a few times to wrap my head around exactly how the layerings of the stencil produce the final product. Again, great job man!

So overall, you basically add all of the stencils, separate them by writing the color on each one, and remove all of that one color between each color of paint? How long did you wait to remove the stencils between coats?
Paint needs to be dry to the touch before removing mask. I wrote colors on outside of body on top of protective coating. You don’t want to risk the writing transferring to body. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Thank you for doing the video. The Kraton is a large scale truck. Any advice for painting a 1/14 scale SCT? The stencils seem too big. Have you seen smaller ones? I would like to do an orange camo design.

UnknownUser69 Sorry I’ve been slacking. I was hoping to get the body painted. To show the finished product. But I’ve been sick. The black is just a primer to see if it would stick. I do have footage of how I primed, I just haven’t finished. The body is very difficult to paint, you’ll need to do a flame treatment to have any kind of luck. If you don’t the paint will just flake off. Search flame treatment on hdpe. But don’t forget you will be painting the outside so it’s gonna take abuse no matter what. You don’t have the clear polycarbonate protecting your paint. Just wanted to point that out because body is expensive. But you can always touch up. Hopefully I can put my video together soon. Hope that helps.
