Some sensors would be clearly pointed out as PAINTABLE on its package or instructions. So u just need to type the key words “paintable parking sensor” when u are looking for it online.

I am looking around for this because I had a garage install a new system, and they painted the sensors, and one front sensor very often starts beeping. Manufacturer of the sensors says they are badly painted. I checked, it's really well painted, smooth, but I think they put too much paint, so now I will try to scratch it all off... (I have a video of how the sensors are behaving now) a real pain!
I had a set of parking sensors that I painted very carefully and lightly and they never worked again. It depends on the sensors. In general I think that painting them is an extremely bad idea. You might be luckier with your set..
