Thank you! I used standard interior wall paint for the basement walls. It was an untinted white satin finish from Sherwin Williams.

Thank you! The color is a light gray (actual name is new concrete) and I have not seen any scuffing yet! I like a light gray and this was my preferred option based on the limited tint choices on the box. I felt the other options were either too dark or had blue undertones which I wasn't looking for on the floor.

As long as the current paint is not chipping, I don't see why you can't paint over it.

Thank you!! Unfortunately I think they tweaked the product and there are only a few color options now with this kit. There are other concrete paints with more color options that come in a can, you just want to make sure it is for concrete

Hi there! The floor has held up very well. The only place where it has chipped is at the sewer cleanout drain where the plumbers had to use big tools to twist off the cap, but it is not noticeable. I was concerned about a slippery floor as well so I purchased this Rust-Oleum anti-skid additive that I mixed right into the can of paint before rolling it on the floor. We have only had water leakage once when a HUGE storm came through and uprooted a tree in our front yard. We have not had any since. Our home was built in 1969

Yes I did! I used the Rustoleum patch and repair concrete product. The one downside was that it was darker than the floor color I chose and it showed through when I painted the first coat. I would actually recommend a different Rust-Oleum product to paint your kitchen and bathroom tile. the Rust-Oleum HOME product works great on tile and lineolum type floors while the Epoxyshield is more for concrete floors in a garage and basement. Use a thicker nap paint roller to get the paint into the dimples. You can also fill the dimples with concrete crack filler before you paint.

It is still in perfect condition after a year, no chipping paint or anything and we are very active in the basement.
