Dang It Andy. I always think I have a color scheme ready to rock for whatever new troop I'm painting but then I watch your videos and I have to change what I'm doing. Thank you for all of the wonderful and inspiring content you put out.
I consume Kroot content like they consume (probably) dead enemies and this video was a particularly tasty morsel. Another easy to follow, great looking paint job. I've got an Idea in the back of my brain for a squad of albino Kroot and this killteam might be the perfect place to try it out.
This looks awesome, I only just learned about the Kroot recently as in when this kill team was announced I had heard about them and seen some but I didn't know much about them. They are awesome! Can't wait to get the box of them when it's released
Your video is very informative, I am new to the table top and found this video VERY helpful. For those that are making a list of paints too here are the ones mentioned. Primer Chaos Black Grey Seer Base Leadbelcher Balthasar Gold Corvus Black Rhinox Hide Screamer Pink Shade Seraphim Septia Kroak Greene Contrast Black templar Cygor Brown Gore-grunta Fur Layer Ironbreaker Nurgling Green Yriel Yellow
Great job. I won't be working on the mini's just yet. I ordered two boxes, as my main focus is the scenery. So hopefully I'll have it all prepped and ready for the next video. With so much to do, can you please make it as simple and fast as possible 😉lol
Question for ya. Did you ever decide on a basing sceeme for your kill teams? I am just finishing my navy breachers and have gove for a space hulk panel theme and liking how it's turning out. But i'm going to be doing the kroot team soon and not sure what to do. My go for some sort of wasteland theme maybe. Curious to know what you ended up doing.
Kind of. I decided that I was just going to paint them to match armies. So they would get more use so my kroot will match my tau and stuff like that as apposed to trying to make it have its own schem.
@@MediocreHobbies gotcha thanks. I've been doing my navy brachera in their own theme with a sci-fi space hulk look. But the kroots I was leanning towards like you said and giving them a more standard basing. Was thinking more of an alien landscape maybe?
Turned out really nice! Is the chaos black and grey seer sprays required or can i use vallejo black and light grey through airbrush? Will that work fine with contrast paints you think?
