I like how they are all uniform in a way that they look like they are from the same place, but there's enough variety that each isn't exactly same as the other.

Really enjoying this series of videos. Grabbed my Octarius box set a couple weeks back and haven't had time to work on it...so sort of just gathering ideas at the moment. Your rules overview series is also fantastic and very thorough. By the way, to get the GW paint lids to stay open, just open the lid and rest the edge on the little tab behind the lid; sometimes you need to lightly push the tab as you position the lid on. I'm sure you know that but I've seen so many people wonder what that tab is for.

I normally click off when I see contrast paints in use because I just don't use them, but I am glad I stuck around to check out all the techniques

Thanks for watching! I really like Contrast paints mostly because I’m terrible at painting in the traditional way 🤣 I painted the Ork Kommando Nob recently and that’s a good showcase for how to use Contrast to get some nice results quickly and easily. Thanks again👊

Use inks...can get 2x the paint for $5

If im going to use leadbelcher spray, do I need to prime the buildings?

I haven't used it, but have read that you can use the Leadbelcher spray as a primer, and it works great. I've been using cheap £4 metal spray paints from Aldi (UK supermarket) to prime my Necrons and that has worked perfectly too. If you can find some cheap metal spray paints they could be a good option, especially for bigger terrain pieces.

I don’t but for smaller models I’ve got the Stormshield Matt varnish. For these bigger terrain pieces I think a spray Matt varnish would be more economical but not sure which brand. Maybe someone here can help 👊
