In this video I explain the process and give you some tips on painting lettering on your car. pdfsr.com/pdf/tube-bender-blue... Music by www.bensound.com
Great designwork! Never seen the logo done with the 'negative' stripes through. But it doesnt look 'designy' if you know what i mean. It looks like it could have been an old design. Very nice.
Thanks i'm about to paint a 93 ford van racing stripe and company logo. I was thinking about using regular vinyl but thanks for stopping me. I'll use masking vinyl.
Thanks for the awesome video. I tried calling a local sign writer and they weren't sure what material would be right for this kind of thing. Are you able to provide additional details on the preferred material and/or specs for the stencil?
@@HomeBuiltByJeff Thanks so much for the response. Are you able to recommend any online retailers where viewers could order a custom stencil using their own artwork? I'm having trouble finding a local sign manufacturer that will do this, other than one that quoted me over $300 for a 24x24 stencil which seems high. There aren't so many custom/sports cars where I live so that may contribute to this blind spot. If you know of a good supplier it may help a lot of viewers in my situation.
Always. You don't HAVE to, but the basecoat is so vulnerable. The tape leaves marks on it, and you are very likely to get some overspray on it, so will probably stuff it up if you don't.
