I've watched and saved at least 20+ vids of "How to" camo paint jobs. This is my favourite. I dont know the names, codes or numbers of the different camo styles but this is definitely the closest to what I've been looking for. So glad I found you. Trust the professionals. 👍🔔
OCP and the Multicam are my favorites of the patterns you have done. Those color gradients really add that extra touch that makes them stand out from more common patterns.
I did this three weeks ago on an LR308 I purchased new. I consigned it after painting and it was gone in less than two days. This and the multicam variants are quick sales due to popularity of the camo clothing that works so well here in Colorado. Keep the videos coming, always look forward to what your creativity has to teach us.
Man you do the best work on the internet. Thanks for the information and the dedication to the art of weapons coating. I’ve been watching you and learning from you for years. I’ve probably watched this video 10 times or more. Thanks again.
Did this on my 308 with rattle can Krylon and it looked decent. Switched to the airbrush for my WC15, and holy crap what a noticeable improvement. I inlayed some of your skulls into the OCP cause, you know, metal head here
@Freedom Stencils Could you please also upload the multicam how to from your private channel? I liked to watch it from time to time as this camo looks the best in my opinion. Thanks!
This looks great! I have just one question: what is the difference between the small stencils and large stencils? Are just the sheets that hold the shapes larger or are the individual shapes larger?
@@carterskindle7086 Yes, to get the right look you'll need to create the beans and squiggles, as well as the big splotches. If your using our stencils, both shape styles come with.
Great work as always, but how come you don’t give the name of the colors you are using just like you did in your older videos which you can’t find anymore.Just tan, green, brown and so on. I was just wondering.
Hey, thanks for the support and glad you like the video. There are a lot of great products that can be used for these projects and they all name their color's differently which makes it hard to be specific without alienating applicators. We try to get everyone as close as we can no matter what product they choose to use!!!
We recommend flash curing, but it may depend on the project. If you can maneuver the parts around to apply the gradients without contacting the prior layer then you can get away with it. Tumbler cups are a good example for that, but larger or more complex shapes can be tricky and may need to be handled a bit as you work.
With so many quality coating products available today and each having their own naming conventions its impossible to be specific so we just try to get you as close as possible. The video doesn't mention a Multi Medium Green. We just call it Medium Green. You are basically looking for mid grade or standard green. Nothing too dark because the next step is spraying the dark Green gradients over it you will want those to stand out a bit.
Lol, so at 1:18 who painted 'gaybo...' on the paper? Nah but your videos are great guys, keep it up. I want to do all my stuff like your examples. Do you NOT overlap your stencils unless you're specifically saying so?
Ha! Thank you. Glad you like the projects! We try to be specific, but it may not always be that on point. Most shapes of most patterns are overlapping so definitely check the pattern!
