I wholeheartedly agree!! Especially since I want a 12x12 so I can do all the way up to scrapbook paper. I have bought the stuff to DIY one, just haven't done it yet. Plan on doing mostly glycerin with some alcohol. This looks like yet another great way to play with paper until then!!❤

​@@oneheart19 Most "recipes" for diy gel plates use either 91-7% rubbing alcohol or glycerin as the liquid (instead of water, juice, broth) to mix/hydrate the unflavored gelatin. Glycerin is a preservative, so both should prohibit mold growth. Glycerin is used commercially in many products. Alcohol will continue to off gas (smell like alcohol). If your homemade plate molds you can bread it up into pieces, microwave it to melt it, then re-pour it into your frame(mold aka pan). There are recipes here on RU-vid along with Pinterest. I just realized how confusing this info is without photos/video. 🤣😂 Hopefully it wasn't too confusing. 😁
