Everyone dreams. Many people simply don't remember them. The dream journal is an excellent idea as you are giving yourself the suggestion to remember them. I've always said that I do my best work when I'm asleep!

I enjoyed this workshop very much. Infortunately I only dream stuff at the moment that I do not want to paint 😅 But I think journaling and using the short moment after waking up, honoring my dreams will bring more inspirational dreams to me.
Fantastic workshop! Thank you for the time you spent on this. It is really significant and I have learnt a lot. I often dream and I am looking forward to express it as part of my paintings. I just saw this yesterday. Last night I dreamt men were jumping into a rectangular tank of water and were standing on each other’s shoulders. I can see the shows obvious influenceI. I also dreamt a husband was loading the dishes really close together but, it was a demonstration of how the dishwasher worked so well. I think that part of the dream means I need a husband to wash my dishes 😊

I was “born painting” selling commissions when I was in 2nd grade, then growing up to sell horse portraits. Then I stopped. Dry stop. Haven’t painted since. Is there hope?
I’ve seen you add alcohol inks into water on a canvas along with other media such as in the painting flower video did. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I had a ton of water on my canvas and when I added alcohol ink drops they soaked into the gessoed canvas and stained it. When I moved on with the painting, I’m now unable to paint over the pink alcohol ink because it soaks back thru any paint I layer on top of it. This has been over 3-4 months and I still can’t make it disappear. I’ve added gesso and titanium white several times and the magenta still appears. How do we prepare that underpainting with inks and not have that happen?
My dreams don’t really lend itself to my creative inspiration but I’m having a partial block because I’ve started to second guess my ideas , like I need to adjust my concept to make it sellable and so that people can connect with it and not scratch their head and go huh?

I am a little older than you, but I am a self-taught artist and doing everything I can to learn from you (and your mom) bc you are truly a master artist! I am so thankful for your free videos! That said… I am currently paused at the 17:50 mark in this video bc I almost choked to death on my ollipop (root beer) when this painting popped up on my screen. (And my Yia Yia would 😤🤌 if she knew what her eldest granddaughter is about to say to you right now 😅 but from one koukla to another lol, I feel the need to pre-defend my idiocy 👉 … I swear I’m not a m@lak@ 😝💙🇬🇷🤍 ) …it just took me a solid 3 minutes of staring at this painting to recognize that those are fish! When it first popped up I thought they were the pointy ends of baked party wings! 😅🐓 🥳 🪦 ☠️ RIP me 😆
So funny…last night I dreamed my dog was using a medicine bottle to draw on paper! Probably because she won’t take her medicine, eats my drawing pads and recently I have been more into my creative side. Don’t think I’d paint that one though, lol!
Hi, I absolutely love your videos! A little feedback - I think a little work can be done on the verbal presentation skills. I find the videos hard to listen to and follow along with due to the amount of filler words (um, uh, so, and) you both use (jake too) when speaking. When counted it's about 4-5 times every 20 seconds, you'll see what i'm talking about clearly if you look at the video transcript, it's very distracting from your message and dilutes it. It's okay to have some silence/ pauses when speaking! Perhaps public speaking classes would help, as this is a common issue people have when doing it, or just working on the habit itself. Love what you're doing, you're both such kind and inspiring teachers, and I appreciate the videos so much!

So regarding your dream about the bees So awhile ago a a Christian elder shared this with us I can’t remember if it was a dream he had or was just speaking figuratively The body of Christ being in one accord (unity) is like a whole family of bees. Together they are very powerful. And can attack a bear But in their own arnt that powerful Regarding your dream about holding a crown for your husband. (I’m just speculating and could be wrong). But I thought of this bible verse from proverbs A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
You are both far too good. Do you use,photographs for your figurative representations. The net has ruined my confidence. I thought I was good but have seen so many remarkable realistic paintings ( though that is not my style) it has made a complete failure of me.
