I just moved into a condo with great bones but blah interior. The majority of the flooring is a 10x10 white ceramic tile that is very boring. It also is highly annoying because I find myself cleaning it at least once a day. It shows everything! Forget that right! This could change it all for my new bachelorette pad! Love your explanation and directions as well as helpful tips. 3 questions for you? Were the stencils plastic? Where can I buy them? What would you recommend if I choose a stencil that looks like wide plank flooring size 4x12 and gives the tile a wooden floor texture such a certain rolling tool is there such a paint tool roller out there? That will also depend on the wear....one or two people versus a family of 5 for example. After all, paint will degrade, chip and wear off.....

I am a decorative finisher (over 40 years) and have used just about every product for floor painting. From experience, I use California “Fix-All”. It’s self priming and needs no top coat! You can have it mixed into any of their colors. It’s meant to drive on so you know it will be tough. I apply a base coat and second coat and then either spatter paint or stencil a design. Easy sneezy.

I'm not a painter I have to paint a wood floor in a bedroom pretty quickly and it dry pretty quickly can I just put down one coat of that paint and it'll be good

Just soapy water with a mop. No harsh scrubbing. Other than that you’re good to go! 🥰

Gorgeous! I once painted my mother's basement floor with marine deck paint. I painted it with a light color to resemble grouting and then took a sponge in the shape of a brick and pounced on a brick red color to resemble a brick floor. I loved how it looked. I really like your Mexican tile look too.
