I haven't used Army Painter paints before; are they already thinned to the ideal consistency? It didn't look like you watered down any of the paints in this video.
Very nice tutorial, thanks a lot! I have all the Zombie paint sets but I cannot import the primer spray (air parcel restriction). What is the closest Vallejo equivalent to the Necrotic Flesh primer?
That is not the case with our Quickshade Washes as they are acrylic based. With our Quickshade Dip that comes in the large metal can, it can leave the model sticky but only sue to it's long drying time. After about 48-hours it should be cured and ready for a coat of Anti-Shine. If you're referring to our Anti-Shine, Aegis Suit or Gloss varnishes, no they will not leave your model sticky.
The information here is very good, but the sound quality is hitting one of my pet peeves; speaking too close to the microphone and speaking too softly. It's as though the narrator is recording at night and doesn't want to wake anyone up, and the mic is picking up all the smacking sounds in his mouth. Please back up from the mic, use a windscreen, and speak in a clear, conversational voice. Thank you for what is otherwise a very informative video.
6:49 - You say the Deep Shader goes on all colors BUT the skin(7:08), but then you go ahead and use it on the face in the video and go on to say on zombie skin. So should I use it on the skin or simply rely on the Plague Shader? Do as you SAY or do as you DO?
+watsonsd1 Cross-referenced with your abomination video and you said that Deep Shader is for everything but skin, and Plague Shader is for skin. So I'm good.
+watsonsd1 good point too. I did notice there seems to be a point that the camera just can't focus well enough to show the detail he is doing. But in truth it's really hard to see that fine detail with a camera. The pro's with liquid talent just practice and practice. I am by far a pro but I have mini's I strip, repaint, strip repaint just for the practice.

Much of the wisdom of your highlighting is lost by having the camera too far back. I can barely see what you're doing. Please, please, in future tutorials, focus on highlighting and show us how you're making your decisions and zoom in close enough for us to see how you apply it.
+Rotten Reason Yeah, I found that too, but the same criticism applies. I've grasped virtually all of the painting of these minis but the highlighting. The highlighting he does seems instinctive for him, and he does it effortlessly, and I'd like to hear his thought process, plus he's so far away that I can't always see what he's doing.
