GOT IT TO WORK: Just pulled out my Galaxy S2, after years in the cabinet, downloaded Samsung Watch app from App store - but it would not pair to my 13-Pro; then I went thru the WATCH menu, turned on WiFi (enter password for router) - continued to "update software" (on WATCH). This took time, it downloads, then finalizes, then installs - once installed, the new menu shows "settings" -> scroll to bottom of list to "connect to new phone"(or similar words) and activate THAT - THEN IT WORKED! Before the WATCH "software update", "settings" scroll to end of list DID NOT SHOW "connect to new phone" - so if you are struggling to get any of the older Samsung S gear watches to pair with an iphone - update the WATCH software via wifi. Apparently iphones do NOT SUPPORT Gear 4 & 5 - but they DO support the original thru S3 (but if the watch has already been connected to a different phone, you may have to dis-connect that other phone before you can connect to a new one). Hope this helps some of you.
Can you help me please? I have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and I Just bought an iPhone 14 pro. I'm doing this proccess, it finds my watch, starts pairing but then appears a message saying that it was not able to connect... i'm sooooo sad!
Hi, i’ve connected my s3 with iphone 14 pro. All seems fine, but i can’t hear the person calling, but that person can hear me very well when using the watch. Any advice? Thanks.
Hii there. I'm trying to pair my device but after the google account part i get directed to the SOS emergency settings and after that the app crashes and cannot pair my watch. Does anybody know how to make it work? Best regards
Patrick Ghelbere Bro, Can you tell us what it is saying when you try to connect the Samsung Galaxy Watch to iPhone? Then we might give you a better idea.😊
I hear there’s an app called merge that will allow the newer galaxy watches to connect to iPhone but you’ll need an android phone for the initial setup. I don’t have one so I’m going with the galaxy 3 for now.
Celestial Galaxy 💫 Bro, Check your Bluetooth Menu, If the Samsung Watch is there, remove it, Restart Bluetooth, then try to connect the Watch again, it can fix the issue.😀
Manuel Valdés Bro, Check your Bluetooth menu, if you have previously connected your Galaxy Watch to iPhone, it can cause a problem. Remove all devices from your iPhone then restart the pairing process, it can fix the issue.😊
DM Garcia, Bro Galaxy Watch Series 3 will able to reply to WhatsApp Messages if you using iPhone but every other model is capable for this if you are an Android user.
