God, the super annoying tech bros are going to keep calling themselves "artists" aren't they? Putting words in a webpage and having a program generate an image for them isn't them "making art" Similarly, making a rough squiggle and having the program generate an image also isn't "making it himself" Both of which are more akin to using Google to search for an image. There is no overlap. The ring is for those who don't want to wear a watch or just want to wear a traditional time piece and not a smartwatch. Using both to decrease error will be a very unusual and extreme case.

Here's what I think Mrwhosetheboss missed. The ring is appealing to people like me because it's enabling your phone to do everything the watch can do. Except I just have to pull the phone out of my pocket? Not a con for me. I find watches pretty annoying to wear but i liked the fitness tracking the smartwatch gave me so the ring sounds pretty sick. I had a galaxy watch but i just stopped wearing it because it irritated my wrist and i had to charge it every day. I dont think im willing to pay $400 for a ring though

I think you missed a final scenario for the smart ring, in that you already have a nice/expensive watch and don't want to wear two watches. I would look forward to a smart bangle. It would be large enough for long battery life and more sensors. A small strip of a screen or series of notification leds could be added to get the best of both worlds.

I think you should have mentioned that the galaxy ring doesn't have a subscription so while it is more expensive then the oura ring, after 2 years youd actually be saving money.

The ring is the best part of this release. I personally always struggle in choosing which watch I want, on the one hand i need my galaxy watch to tract all the stuff (sleep, steps, etc...) which doesn't allow me to wear a normal, stylish watch. Ring would eliminate this problem for me. Thanks for the review!

The laggy part, could be how many programs are open, or one of the programs is stuck in a loop. It happens to the best of phones. I assume if he restarted the watch beforehand, It would be much more responsive. Usually for video reviews you put a device through the paces, which means opening up all of the apps at once ....

i seriously don't know how you're meant to replace the battery on these, so hopefully they have a feature to limit charging to 80% because the whole benefit of them not needing a subscription requires you to be able to use the ring for years without the battery dying...

Smart rings will 100% be the future. We've seen the buzz about the Humane AI pin. Having Siri in a ring feels like the natural end goal for an AI assistant. Itll be voice activated, linked to headphones etc.
