Thanks for the information, I was rented a car in Japan in 2022 December it was not easy for me to park most of the time because everywhere I go the parking sign in Japanese + the way the parking is little complicated but I manage to park it during my visit in Japan. I'm thinking to visit Japan in December 2024 hopefully this time will be easy for me then the last time Insha Allah.
I am about to get driving license in Japan . Is it hard for beginners or what ? Could you please make it clear . I know it’s a bit challenging and tricky.
I’m going to drive in Kawaguchiko when I visit Mt. Fuji in April. Will be the first time driving in Japan. Thank you so much for all of your videos. Super helpful. Much appreciated.
This was very helpful thank you!! I also discovered there is a parking lot that you dont need to pick up a parking ticket when you enter and just park. There are cameras that scans your license plate when you enter, then when you leave there is another camera on the exit that scans your plate and that will determine how much you have to pay at the machine.
Thanks for the video! I'm going to get my first car in Japan soon so it was very helpful! One thing that surprised me was the use of warnings. Is this the normal way that Japanese people do it? In my country, it's a big no-no. In my country, you have to use the corresponding turn signal because if there are free spaces on both sides of the car, you need to indicate which one you're going to park.
Nice videos, keep them up ! I´d like to see a video explaining where you are allowed to park on the streets for long or short periods. I´ve seen cars parked without the driver on big roads, some park for a few minutes but its somehow confusing where you can park or not...thanks !
Coin parking: Once you park, do you have to go to the machine to register or print a ticket first? Do you only need to go to the machine once you leave? is that correct?
Just get a ticket before entering a parking lot. Then make the payment at the machine before exiting the parking lot. It depends on the parking lot though...
